Can you explain why there so expensive?

and if you think its possible to modify a normal red laser pointer into a burning laser pointer?

The viper is a 125 mw. Highly visible beam in darkness and semi-darkness. The starburst effect in real life is spectacular. Try it on a tree - the whole tree lights up with hundreds of tiny brilliant green dots. Or shine it into the sky on a cloudy night - you see the starburst pattern on the cloudbase !

how comes my laser isnt visable on my camera? i can see the beam with my eye, but not with a camera. what settimngs will help with this?

Change the exposure to around 4-5 seconds and place the camera on a stable surface when you take the picture.

No fog or anything in the air. It is probably an optical effect thne the laser is pointed to the camera.

Easy choice, the ebay laser is a scam and the Viper 95mW is a top laser pointer.

my 5MW has a visible beam but its hard getting it on Film.. maybe its my bad camera.

It is a 125mW laser. It is not the background or camera, 125mW is naturally very visible and easy to film. Your problem is the beam from a 5mW laser is not very bright and pretty much not visible in lighted conditions.

At that price, i'm afraid not. You need at least $150-160 for a good laser that can do some burning.

Neat ! I still can't figure how the diffraction grating sheet reflects the same design. Try it with your hulk to see if we can see multiple beams at night !

It is interesting how the design is reflected. The grating is plastic not glass so i'm not game to use the Hulk in case its too powerful and melts the grating.

wow thats awesome, i want one of those. but i dont think il order the diffraction grating online, il see if my science teacher has something like that.

btw, im getting a new laser, it's the DX Rechargable 80mW SKU = 7414

I couldnt decide between this or the UltraFire 90mW SKU = 9311

what do you think? i like how the 80mW is rechargable, i think ill go with that one.

Not familiar with rechargeable lasers. I go for top quality lasers and rechargeable batteries :)
