...Not willing to go shorter any time soon but I'd really appreciate some tips on how to make the hair stay in place particulary when trying to create volume and curls for someone who has long and a lot of hair which easily gets dragged down. I suggest Caruso Curlers Molecular Steam it gives the closest to a wet set in terms of hold and the steam is great for hair that needs a break from heat. Thanks for the post.

@heidianne1987 I'm really sad to say Remington doesnt make them anymore:( I wrote and asked if they could "re-issue" but didnt hear anything back. I've heard you might be able to find them at walmat but I wouldnt want to send you on a goose chase. Most of my curling I now do with the Remington Pearl Wand which is a clipless curling iron that produces this kinda piecey curl that I like. Thanks for watching xo

@iheartsugercookies its kinda tricky with long hair but still doable. make sure your curls are really really tight and sprayed in place and then really concentrate on getting the pinned sides down for the Grace effect. If its too hard them maybe do my "old hollywood curls"

MY hair gets greasy really fast. Like I'll take a shower in the morning then at night its already starting to get greasy. I know that this look requires some day old hair but I don't know what to do about my day old super greasy hair. HELP :D!! I love this look its so amazing!

@iheartsugercookies you can do it on washed hair if thats best for you - use mousse for a little texture. you should also try tea tree shampoo to combat greasy scalp. my husband uses the one from paul mitchell and its worked out well!

Oh Grace - this makes me want to watch High Society (yet again). Have you seen Katherine Heigl's spread from this month's US Bazaar? They put her in lots of New Look inspired styles but her hair is kind of "eh," which surprised me because Katherine often has really lovely hair styles that are modern versions of a Grace Kelly hair do.

when i use hot rollers i look like a poodle!! the curls are frizzy, no volume on the top and in ten minutes they are gone! what do i do wrong?? i soooo love the look and want to do it too :(((

@BerlinHairBaby well i have a lot of hair, but its fine an naturally wavy. its long and kinda layered... i use to blow dry it on a round brush and put it in big rollers when its dry to cool down. so it is a little dry and frizzy on its own. but when i put "spitzenfluid" or any other leave in conditioner in it, it hangs on my head with no volume at all!

oh, and i use a volumizing shampoo and a repair conditioner and heat protectant everytime i wash my hair!
