I remember this along with another one where two guys play guitar and one becomes famous for playing the tune wrong. and the "Jumping" animated short. Also the live action Frog Comes to Dinner.
I'm looking for one of the short takes I believe was called "the butcher." It's a crazy butcher who accidentally hacks off his finger and then goes nuts and hacks up the rest of his body. Very bloody. That's how I remember it, anyway. Can anyone help??

I used to wake up at 6.a.m. to try to catch it on Nickelodeon in the morning, in like 1987. Thanks for posting this, one of the best youtube finds ever! So funny how many people liked the exact same thing as me, like the bird and when the lizard turns plaid and the guitar riff, wow, that made my day!
This almost brings a tear to my eye, i loved this so much as a kid, i like others have been searching for this. Even the guitar riff haunted my own guitar playing, ive had that riff in my head for over 25 years.
does anyone know about the one where a guy was cracking an egg, and a little voice says, "who is it? Stop that!" then the guy crushes the egg? Then he hears a knock on his door.... LoL

I remember Rock and Roll Pet Store from the 1970's. I used to be on a show called The Intentional Animated Film Festival. I think it was on the BBC. It has been a life time since I have seen it. Thank you so much for bringing it back.

All I can remember is that there was a group of people, with one of them being this arrogant super hero who wanted to wash his cape. That's seriously all I can remember.....and I probably saw it 10 times. It was probably one of the very few full length animated movies that HBO would have played. Anyone know?
@LtStarkiller You're talking about "Twice Upon A Time". Released copies are heavily cut, but the original uncut copy is posted on YouTube. After you watch it and all the memories come flooding back, also look up (from the same user) the original end credits - he altered them, but posted the original music after enough fans protested. The cape bit: inept superhero-in-training Rod Rescueman must launder his cape before he can save Flora Fauna, who is in the process of falling from a great height.

Does anybody remember a singing frog cartoon? I remember it either being on HBO Short Takes or on Nickelodeon or both. It was singing frogs and other small animals. In one part a couple of frog faces appear out of blooming flowers then they turn into stars or moons and fade to silhouettes. At the end all of the animals are singing together at a party. A mouse is playing the piano with a mask on backwards on its head. Kind of a rock song. Probably from the 70s. Anybody remember that?

Yes!...thank you soooo much! Please don't ever remove this. I too watched HBO just because there was a chance it would come on..... The chameleon changing colors was my favorite part and the dancing rabbits was mom's.

One where a guy is a tape editor or something and the tape unwinds and chases him till it eats him.
The other a trippy frog with a guitar singing some old late 60's early 70's type rock music.
