  • I just bought a western hognose yesterday. Hes 1 year old, about 16 inches long, and his gerth is the size of a dime. He's awesome. I wonder how old this Hognose is. Certainly seems to be fully grown.

  • it actually does not look like sand. More like english walnut which is safer, this lady is smarter than all the other "experts" on this channel.

  • thanks for the advise, zadV251. I used to use "calci-sand" in my hoggie's tank but it kept clogging her nostrils. I got the walnut and its great!

  • Oh yes. they are extremely docile depending on the snake

  • adssm, Im not sure about others, but I have a female and she simply loves to be held. some are more aggressive than others but mine has never been.
