I almost cried in class when we were showed this, RIP to all those who died or suffered. Humanity makes me sick sometimes, why would humans to do this to their own kind?
Rufus Sewell in IMHO IS THE BEST EXAMPLE OF A TRUE WORKING ACTOR. He doesn't seek the celeb life never causes scandal.. His body of work is awesome... Check out Pillars of the earth. its on Youtube
Amazing Grace, John Adams, King Charles 2 in the Power and the Passion...A knight tale, Taming of the Shrew Modern Version ie BBC
A very kind tribute from a person who isn't even American but is a human being who got the pain of humanity. I wanted to be on those streets helping anyone I could. I bleed for us that day when because it happened to them. . it happened to us. Thank you Uke for putting this up and thank you Mr. Sewell for your compassion.
Did you know that Canary Wharf (i suppose it's britains trade center) Closed down for a whole month after 9/11 because they were terrified of this happening again
@tipou1960 I also cant believe he is not on the top yet. When I first saw him I thought he was almost ugly. But the opposite is true. The more I see of him the more interesting, talented, charismatic, amazing, handsome I find him. This is the true MAN and true ACTOR. And his voice...!
rufus is soo hot but this is pretty upsetting. he is an amazing actor too. the poem is so emotional and he delivers it so well.combine that u have a me cryin a bit
What an incredibly powerful poem. I saw this when it was broadcast on Five and I cried my eyes out. Rufus Sewell is so amazing at injecting the necessary emotion in this poem. Thanks for posting it.
You can get the poem in its entirety via google. "simon armitage, out of the blue". It is brilliant. You can see excellent, moving word plays. The line "Can you see me, my love? I am flagging. Flagging" over scenes of people waving towels and shirts from the windows is powerful stuff. This was shown on Channel 5 in the UK on 5th Anniversary

His most amazing work until today, in my opinion, is the BBC series Zen. Check it out.

why isn't Rufus Sewell a star? he's the best actor from the uk hands down.
gpedder 2 years ago 10
@gpedder
Maybe he didn't want to be a star. Maybe he's happy being an actor's actor.

Rufus Sewell is a professional's professional.
This guy is one of the best to come out of the UK theatre scene. Top of his game. Actually the best performance of his I've seen on camera.
