  • Rich people get treated the same as poor people in Canada, I imagine its quite the culture shock. Of course anyone with the cash to simply go to the us and be treated would want to, then they can feel important again.

  • @agafaba Or they can get treated by the best doctors in the known world instead of a bureaucrat, just look at our US medical Nobel winning physicians. I guess it makes you feel important to know everything's completely equal and you get the same care as the rich, but stop bullshitting yourself you know you're getting some of the lowest tier care in the medical world. Our doctors laugh at how terrible your wait times and death tolls are because of it.

  • @Mirovozzrenie100 Wait times are vastly over exaggerated, and of course your doctors are laughing, they make a fair bit more then ours do. Is every first world country except the US getting the lowest tier of healthcare?

Also I dont care if people with money go across the border to buy healthcare, its their money not mine. Obama won the nobel peace prize, I am surprised the world doesnt consider the united states as the pinnacle of peace loving countries.

  • @agafaba Yeah but our docs actually won the prize off merit, and their abilities. Obama won it because he's black. There's a huge discrepancy I think haha. I just think it's funny people still think Cuba has better infant mortality rates ever since that stupid Michael Moore movie came out.. You know... THOSE types of people. The ones that believe Cuba has better neonatal care when they don't have it at all.. they don't even have stitches for their citizens let alone fetal intensive units. Lmfao.

  • @Mirovozzrenie100 Ya thats a bit out there, but Canada isnt even close to the same boat as Cuba. Kind of like in the US the only stories you ever hear are the horror stories. Most Canadians get treated somewhat swiftly (with the exception being people going for very minor things, as they treat the most serious first regardless of when they showed up)

  • @agafaba Which is why I favor private practice.. that "something small" could end up being a huge problem in the long run. Bureaucrats are not doctors. I have a neurologist for a reason, for all I know.. I could have CNS lesions or tumors leading to whatever illness I have.

  • Part of the enormous cost of healthcare is that the system takes advantage of the elderly and insurance.

  • this is taken completely out of context. In that speech he gave at UC Berkeley he said that is what a candidate would say if they didn't want to get elected.

  • cnin242, congratulations on figuring out how to upload a video.

  • Arrogance!? Oh, Sean Hannity, you are the definition of the word.

  • @JoshKeatonFan

He's not arrogant enough to think the government planners can run our healthcare system..... Liberals are.

  • health care is and always will be about profit with greedy banker scumbags at the top running the whole show. They choose who is deserving and who is not. Thsi is how it will always be until us humans eventually evolve or some crazy shit like that. No matter who controls it whether it be government or the private sector it will still be all about the same thing, MONEY. Your cre will always be rationed no matter what. The only fix is to make something besides money as the mane motive

  • This is why FOX's own 90% of the news marketshare while dipshit liberals go out of business, every liberal i ever met was either a pussy, faggot, tree-hugger or immigrant who couldnt even speak english.

  • I don't get you right wingers you act like the free market doesn't ration care. It does. If you have money you get care if you don't you die. Sometimes even people with insurance get screwed out of care. So what do you think will happen to those people if there's no government insurance option? You think some magic fairy is going to come along and treat them?

  • Go ask someone from Poland, England, Canada or Russia how their health care is. They come here when they have the money to get treated.

    Wake up, communist stooge.

  • @cnin242 Actually we've got private healthcare in the UK too but the NHS is great if a little tied down in managerial targets and only 15% of Britons use BUPA or AXA (our 2 main healthcare providers) for private medical care.

  • @gbushimprov

Well when you're taxed at 50% it's hard to save enough money on your own to buy private health insurance so what winds up happening is only very rich people get good coverage while the rest of the population gets the shaft.

Also, England invents no new drugs, medical equipment or new health improvement technologies. Why? Because you eliminated the profit motive.

  • @TimeWarp66 Congratulations on being the most misinformed person in the room. We pay for our medicine, it's just partially subsidised by the NHS. Oh and ever heard of GlaxoSmithKline? Quite a successful little global pharmaceutical company.

  • @gbushimprov

It's "free at the point of service". When you go to an NHS hospital you don't ask your physician how much the service he is proving you costs? Theirs hardly any out of pocket, it's all government managed and paid for. Which is why it sucks, and most Brits have to buy private just to get the basic care they need.

  • @TimeWarp66 Again, wrong. Very few Britons use private medical care. The NHS has only started going downhill in the last 20 years or so when Margaret Thatcher brought in a guy called Alain Enthoven to design a targets based management system based on the free market theory by James Buchanan called Public Choice to incentivise staff to be more efficient but it completely backfired because the rest of the system is designed to be run at committee level. Try using facts not opinions next time.

  • @gbushimprov

Well when you're taxed at 50% it's hard to afford quality(private) healthcare. So only the rich have access to quality care while the middle class is squeezed and the poor are condemned to misery.

  • @TimeWarp66 Well in the UK only the top 5% get taxed 50%, so you're logic is....well, absent.

  • @gbushimprov

    WRONG.

The top 5% is taxed on their income at 50%. This does not include, VAT, property taxes, taxes from localities...etc.

So for the top 5% of productive people, they pay somewhere around 65-70% in taxes at least.

    The average Brit pays 50%.

  • @TimeWarp66 Well in addition to the fact that you're just guessing figures (good mathematic basis that), the highest income tax band in the UK is 40%, not 50%.

  • @gbushimprov

They recently raised the top bracket to 50%.

  • @TimeWarp66 that's only on dividends and it doesn't come into effect until april and it's a 1 year capital allowance so minus the Personal Allowance they pay 42.5%, besides the vast majority pay 20% and much lower council tax, insurance, utility costs, etc.

  • @gbushimprov

You forgot VAT tax. The worst of all.

  • @TimeWarp66 I'm not much of a fan of VAT either, it doesn't scale to ability-to-pay at all. However progressive tax is far to bureaucratic, I'm sure there must be a way in this age of instant-access technology that VAT could be scaled for each person.

  • @gbushimprov

How about no VAT, no progressive income tax either. Here's an idea: Why don't we let people keep and spend their own money how they see fit? How about a simple 5% flat tax to pay for cops, courts, the military, roads and bridges, and that's it.?

  • @TimeWarp66 And who's going to pay to pick up the garbage, pay for education, who's going to pay the full cost of medicine? You want to pay a company $30 a month to pick up your trash once a week? If you live in a rural area there won't be enough subscribers to keep enough money flowing into the schools.

  • @gbushimprov

Whose going to pay for computers, cell phones, cars, lamps....etc.

If you live in a rural area their won't be enough subscribers for a telephone company to make any profit. So if the government doesn't run the telephone lines rural communities will be without communication!

........Oh wait, the free market provides those services to the most amount of people in the most areas. Rural or urban.

  • @TimeWarp66 Yeah, with government subsidy. The phone lines were built under government contract.

  • @gbushimprov

In the beginning that's true. And it was a disaster. All the phone's were black, it was horribly expensive and inneficient. Once the telephone industry was deregulated and privatized, we got things like cell phones and iphones for on $40 a month, rather that $400.

I know it's hard for you to believe, but freedom works.

  • @TimeWarp66 And I know it's hard for you to believe but what you've been talking about is a corporatocracy. Not what I'd call freedom. Oh yeah, and the technology that allowed cell phones and iphones to be invented? All discovered through government contracts in the 1950s and 60s.

  • @cnin242 I asked some folks from Finland and they love their healthcare...

  • @cnin242 I work with several people from the UK and we constantly talk about what a pain in the ass it is for them to see a doctor in the US. Sure, the care's good, once you wade through the morass of insurance, bills, and cost.

  • @badmuffy

Many people don't have healthcare because government intervention artificially raises prices.

Oh and by your logic the free market rations cars and food, yet no one complains about lack of those items because markets are so much more efficient at getting resources to the most people.

    Learn some basic economics.

  • Liberals are terrorists and liars...everything that comes out of their mouth is a lie

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, they are saboteurs

  • @SHAMSHAM1090 there was me thinking Conservatives wanted to preserve their annual bonuses

  • @cnin242 This talk of all liberals are terrorists and liars is insanity to me. We are all Americans, there are radical liberals, and radical conservatives. Some liberals are stupid, some conservatives are stupid. However, this us vs. them mentality used against other Americans prevents any meaningful discussion and is, quite frankly disgusting. Have a good day,

  • I will never ask how Hitler did what he did, I am watching it in my own country.

  • Is this all the insurance companies can up with? come on America.. we are close.. public option is near!!!

  • Thanks, Hannity & Fox! Wish the rest of the TV media would tell it like it is.

  • BTW You Tube share video option is out of order....again!

  • where are you trying to share it?

  • To: All Contacts The button wouldn't work. I'll give it another shot.

  • Nope it still won't work contacts or friends. wtf?

  • That happens all the time

  • If these traitors are going to decide whether we are going to live or die I will not go down alone...that's a promise.
