Cooper did talk about UFO's at one point though, he even said he saw one come out of the ocean, very similar to whole Shag Harbor incident. He said at first they were aliens, and he even said that aliens were at Roswell, etc.... He would later say he was deceived, and that the UFO's were government. I understand what you mean to some extent. However, before his death, Cooper denounced a lot of info/intel as disinformation, that he use to embrace as truth. He believed a lot of disinfo was fed to him on purpose, in an effort to discredit him and others, and to confuse people. But if you check out the information presented in this video, a couple months before 9/11, it checks out.
