Actually you are quite missinformed. The column was not built randomly to celebrate "Trajan's acomplisments", and "the battles he fought". It was build especially to celebrate the win of the Dacian wars, ALL those carvings are from the DACO-ROMAN wars (wich ended in the birth of Romanian nation). The column is the best proof of history of modern day Romanian's roots.
