The Main problem with this clip is there's no evidence anywhere in the universe that one species ever "evolved" into another species. Every change that has been observed took place within species. Anybody who believes otherwise is (pay attention-this is important) Self-Deceived. This is dangerous to oneself as well as others. You have No excuse & will either give account of this in this life or the next. It will be better for you if you Repent b4 it's 2 late 4 U.
I know this is done in humor but just wanted to add that , we didn't evolve from gorillas and chimpanzees, we evolved from a common ancestor of chimpanzees or more likely bonobos.
No it actually is. Look at the globe spinning in the beginning. It is spinning the right way, just everything is facing the wrong way. (east coast is west coast)
Pretty observant! Yeah, I pained over that for a while. The clip I found and used was originally the planet/moon spinning backwards with the continents correct. I figured it would be better to represent the mechanics of the Earth/Moon system correctly over displaying the landmasses right . Any future vids I make, I'll have a crisp new intro done with Blender3D (same scene set-up).
Good Point. In fact the ancient Sumnerians wrote 4500 years ago, that the gods (plural) created us via gene splice monsatan style, so we could dig gold for them. for that Sumeria was nuked, and because we found those fragments, they are lining the place with Depleted Urainium, so we never dig there again.
we didn't evolve from modern apes, but we certainly did evolve from animals that you would definitely classify as apes. Come to think of it, we never really got out of that category, did we?
Plus, apparently, we're scientifically labeled as monkeys. Go figure. I guess I can say "Yes. Yes we did." Next time a Creationist asks me if we evolved from monkeys. (even though they mean modern monkeys)
@twothlesswonder i wanted to support your argument, i'm sorry if i didn't make that clear.... but i also think that many people underestimate other animals when compareing them to humans.
Absolutely! I agree. The differences between the abilities of Humans and the rest of the animal kingdom are of degree. I can't think of a single general ability Humans possess that isn't found elsewhere in other animals to some degree or another. Especially when we're talking about other apes besides us ;)
Certainly their "arguments" are the verbal equivalent of apes flinging shit at each other!

Creationists didn't evolve from modern Apes. Maybe they devolved?!?

There is no such thing as Devolution, it's just another misconception about evolution.

@chodaboy51500 Austrolapithicus Afarensis, yes?
tribbleofdoom 1 year ago
@tribbleofdoom Not early enough. Estimated common ancestor is around 6.5 to 7 MYA Australopithecus is only about 4 MYA and is also still hominid.
Sahelanthropus tchadensis is the closest thing we have found and are even unsure if it belongs on the Chimpanzee or Human branch.

See, evolution really does work ;p

There's a reason why the Happy B-Day version with "You look like a monkey... You act like one, too" is sung with glee. Because, its true.

No, we sure didn't. We're just the most intelligent. ;-)

@twothlesswonder no species ever left it's ancestors, we're all mamals, we are multi cellular, Vertebrates and so on.

@BalthazzarCH Hmmm, not sure what your point is but while I and others may joke that we are "just apes", I think we are more than that, much more.

Given time, maybe science will provide us with the means to inlighten even the most deluded.
Witness the morphing!
See? evolution is real!
