i love Aquaman dearly (he is my second fave hero over all) but WTF would Brainac want o.O with Aquaman? The ability to make fish sticks? The comic book aquaman- I get it. but ..that's it. O.o
@robingurl If you're REALLY an Aquaman fan you then you don't make silly comments like that. And moreoever how do you not know he has massive super strength, speed, agility, skills, telepathy that's effective on humans as well in addition to all the harped on obvious water powers.
He also RULES 3/4 of the Earth which no other hero can say. He could take over the planet anytime he chooses but chooses not to.

Yes, there are a few times where the telepathy backfired; he couldn't talk with radio-active fish. In some rare cases in the Superfriends history, as well as in Aquaman's cartoon series, there were times when the fish wouldn't respond.
**Spoiler Alert**
The way the two got out of the energy cell in this episode, by the way, had been similarly used on the "Invasion of the Fearians" episode on the CHALLENGE OF THE SUPERFRIENDS series with Green Lantern providing the idea in that episode.
ABC decided not to air the 1983-84 season Super Friends shorts because the older Super Friends were enjoying time in syndication (particularly the 1977-79 half-hours).

The next year during the Legendary Super Powers show in 1984, Braniac would have a new look as a robot. The new robot would appear for three episodes.
