I think we're honestly just looking at this with rose coloured glasses. And also, the media is saying that this controller feels pretty good in their hands and also developers are saying they're really pleased with the hardware.

I'm not siding with the WiiU but, I think we just need to reserve our judgment because it was presented so poorly at E3.

I feel everyone forgot why Nintendo made the Wii, it's for fun. Which is the point of video games in the first place. That's why there is Kinect in Mass Effect 3. Sure you can press a button to talk, but where is the fun? Or you can say what you want to say, which is fun. That is the way i'll be playing Mass Effect 3. And the Wii U, I'm sure, will be fun.

With Nintendo it's just one dismal move after another. I completely agree that these quixotic motion controls are bullshit. Nintendo's only selling point is their 5 games. They have gone with the aesthetic apple look as of late. We know how every one pitches a tent in their pants during those unveilings. The Wii U is just plain egregious in its own right. Nintendo should've came out with a NON MOTION CONTROL HD console capable of rivaling the current / next gen xbox and sony consoles, gave it a normal controller like the xbox360 / ps3 have, called that shit the "Nintendo128" (a Nintendo64 2, basically) or something catchier, and given it the kickass trademark titles we've grown to love ever since the Nintendo 64.

That shit would've blown sony and xbox out of the fucking water, because EVERYONE would want a new gen Nintendo64.
