It was a much trumpeted mediocre film boasting of an Irani star very first time in a Pakistani film . Actually the lady was worthless in appearance as well as in talent but some how Ali Bhai got entangled to her . This scandal brought a lot of humiliation for him . Any how by no means it iwasnot an East Pakistani film . Mosleh ud Din's music was above average . A Persian song Jaan E Maa, Jaan E Maa occasionally danced on my lips for some time

Please correct the first colour film of Pakistan was Sangam from East Pakistan and First full colour production from West Pakistan was Sharif Nayyer's Naela produced by Agha Gul. Jan Pechan was a West Pakistan Production, a thriller made 20 years ahead of its itme.

"JAN PEHCHAN" was East Pakistan production!This movie was made in Lahore & most the location was KHEWRA SALT Mines where Ali, Hameed Wyne & the heroine who hailed from Iran SHAHPARA did the major shooting. This movie led to the engagement of Muhammad Ali & Shahpara which never culminated into marraige.The entire movie in cans...is believed to be with the family of Hameed Wyne.This song was picturized on Ali & Shahpara at Fatima Jinnah Bagh, Lahore

aisay songs kahan kahan liye jatay hain hum logon ko....it was the only hit song from 'jan pehchan'. mohammed ali was 'in ishq' with shahpara he even went to iran after her but 'baat naheen bani'. thanks for upload
