i live in vancouver, and the most fights i have seen on a monday - friday is from drunk native people. on the weekends its white doods from the ages of 18 - 30, if you want to see the nicest natives in canada, go to nisga'a, near kitsault in northern bc, those people clothed me gave me food for 2 months, and i never even seen 1 of them drunk. they all go to school dont squander their money, the natives in vancouver are pushing baby carriages by the time they are 15, seldom finish school

Protests are a way to show the criminals in charge that when the people are pushed to far they unplug themselves from the television, leave their homes, and hit the streets. If no one protested anything ever, I guarantee you that things everywhere would be worse because of the lack of opposition. Its a mental tactic and it does work. It doesnt completely change the world, but it does put somewhat of a leash on evil.
Something that is not often observed is the victim perspective that people often take. I agree that our country is questionable in it's spending, but what many of these people don't often do, is take responsibility for their own choice to live in poverty. It's easy to blame the government.
I would love to see these people empower themselves and choose a different life for themselves so they can realize their power to choose freely and no longer need to point fingers at anyone but themselves.
Poverty is not a choice. From your statement I take it that you believe that there would be no possible circumstance or amount of government corruption that could set into motion a downward spiral into poverty. It sounds to me like you have something to fall back on (parents, trust fund) in case everything in your life falls apart. Some people do not have that. i moved to Canada last summer 2009 and i had less in my pocket than the social and housing assistance gives them and yet i managed get a job that provides me enough to rent my own appartment and even save some money. so will have to say.... I don't know, BC2 hasen't come out yet, so I can't skip to any conclusions, but based of of what I played in the demo, I'm looking foward to it.

i live in vancouver, and the most fights i have seen on a monday - friday is from drunk native people. on the weekends its white doods from the ages of 18 - 30, if you want to see the nicest natives in canada, go to nisga'a, near kitsault in northern bc, those people clothed me gave me food for 2 months, and i never even seen 1 of them drunk. they all go to school dont squander their money, the natives in vancouver are pushing baby carriages by the time they are 15, seldom finish school

Protests are a way to show the criminals in charge that when the people are pushed to far they unplug themselves from the television, leave their homes, and hit the streets. If no one protested anything ever, I guarantee you that things everywhere would be worse because of the lack of opposition. Its a mental tactic and it does work. Something that is not often observed is the victim perspective that people often take. I agree that our country is questionable in it's spending, but what many of these people don't often do, is take responsibility for their own choice to live in poverty. It's easy to blame the government.
I would love to see these people empower themselves and choose a different life for themselves so they can realize their power to choose freely and no longer need to point fingers at anyone but themselves.

From your statement I take it that you believe that there would be no possible circumstance or amount of government corruption that could set into motion a downward spiral into poverty. It sounds to me like you have something to fall back on (parents, trust fund) in case everything in your life falls apart. Some people do not have that. what needs to be addressed is the fact that centralized power must be downsized for anything to take effect. The police superstructure is not independent, they're interdependent with government and politics.

The olympics is a poor, overpirced excuse for somthing to watch, only to bore us to death, while our taxes eat away at us for this event.

the main thing that sux about this is that by time this is fought in courts the olympics are already over and the fight is lost. i heard about this before but in all honestly didnt even believe it. i kno this world, the capitalist system is fucked and ignorant people are almost as dangerous as the scum speaking for others but this in one of the free'st "nice" countries is fukin sick. im not a jew thats gonna wait till im in a cattle car to say ive had enuff. are you ? what gives them the right ?

@mustard873 Well totally personally I think that Bad Company 2 is a little better, than Modern Warfare 2, but you can't really compare the two, I mean, they're both different games (kinda). I don't know, BC2 hasen't come out yet, so I can't skip to any conclusions, but based of of what I played in the demo, I'm looking foward to it.
