Thanks ! I'm not sure if this was photoshop cs3 or corel painter X. I think it was the latter. Never used gimp, but I might try it out if it's free.

Totally awesome! Have you thought of contacting Sendak with this video? I just know he'd love it! Back in the 80s I contacted Mr. Sendak, never expecting what would then happen. He ended up mentoring me for a short while. I still have those letters. Yes, letters. Back in the hand scrawl days! Do it! Your digital paint skills are incredible :-)

Heyyy. We are all human. In those years I also contacted Boris Vallejo (Google; you will know him I think). The man called me on the phone! I had to sit down for that one. And he critiqued my work via phone... and later sent a letter. Maurice Sendak from what I've read, is okay now. But he's had poor health. We never know if we will see anyone, come the next day. Think how you feel when you receive great feedback. These giants are the same. Give it a try. He will love your work. :-))))
