@SofaBanga simply put, Nasus doesn't need flash. It's a tanky dps that doesn't need to get into/out of combat quickly, he needs the ability to chase people around. The hardcounter to Nasus is kiting, which can be easily taken care of with ghost+triforce+wither.

@hyfe86 ghost/exhaust is all you need...1) SF at lvl 3 will clear a wave of creeps 2) chances of you dying if you play smart, is slim to none with your ulti/ghost/exhaust/wither...th­at cancels out 2v1 3) if you go full tank they will need 5v1 just to kill you(possible 5K+ hp) 4) if you go dps SS can get 500+damage easily if SS is farmed correctly + trinity force/sheen

Hey, Hyfe. HP quints are good, but I've found delightfully positive results with movement speed quints instead, going with a 1-14-15 mastery set, getting exhaust, dodge/proc, improved ghost and movespeed in utility. In items, after triforce, I also get a FoN. Once I have all that, the amount of mobility it gives you... unbelievable. Really solid defense with huge chasing power.

ok so nasus is my fav and i wanted to give you guys a build that can make you durable and fairly powerfull at the same time early game....you should grab ninja tabi first and then purchase an atmas impailer its passive is that you get 2% attack damage of your max health then work on a warmogs armor grabbing a frozen mallet after warmogs....thats my core build always plz try it i have tremendous succses and plz tell me about your matches if you try it out :)

@NateTG13Mutt Actually you should never rush boots. And you should always build boots according to the enemys team comp. If they have a lot of CC go merc treads. Also, a build a lot of people use is going Trinity Force + Tanky items of course the tanky items you should chosse depending on the enemey team comp.

With the changed price of doran's shield, i no longer like to get it as a starting item (at least on nasus)

@ScootaCody Early baron is still possible, but more difficult. Previously you could actually duo baron with Nasus and a jungler with wriggles at 15 minutes. That is no longer possible... you'll need at least 3-4 people to take it down.

@ScootaCody You need to be lvl 11 for the 2nd rank of ultimate and someone with a madreds item. I tested it right after the change to see what was possible. If you try to 3 man it you will need a wriggles. I did it at 15 min with Nasus Udyr Sivir, but this was with good farming in a practice game and Sivir ulting. You'll be safer finishing it with 4 but also more obvious.

@kaihus None of his abilities benefit from SV. SV does not work with lifesteal, and his ult gives him a flat HP boost which is not affected by SV. Aside from that, the item has been nerfed multiple times and is now really only viable on a select few champs (Renekton being one of them).

im thinking of going atk dmg red, dodge yellows, and cd reduc blues with hp per level purples. On paper it seems like this would be awesome now that nasus can q pump. Also im trying out using defensive masteries til its 21. Just curious if you think this could be used at a competitive level. I know nasus isnt a dps and as such i build him as support tank/dmg. The reason im thinking all this is cuz im lvl 15 and its working very well.

@FatalSonata Just get armor penetration red and even more CDR purples. With most champs it is anyway useless to get raw attack damage reds, and EXPECIALLY pointless with Nasus wich relies on CDR and armor pen to deal more damage.

actually they nerf the damage but they buff the how much dmg you get every last hit so this is better because they also decrease the cdr to 2.5 sec at lvl 5 so with 9-0-21 boots of lucidity lich bane and nashor tooth you can make your q every 0.12 sec but you nedd clarity otherwise you need infinity edge

They did not nerf the damage they increased the bonus damage he gains per last hit to 3 from 2, they did not decrease the cooldown to 2.5 it is still 4 seconds at level 9 or rank 5, the cdr cap is 40% and your build suggestion does not even reach it meaning your over 50% cd reduction in your explanation (0.12 second cd on his Q) is completely imaginary, nasus does not need clarity since you don't spam spirit fire, and infinity edge is for pure dps or when you are vs noobs.

I personally don't like leveling up sf as much as you, just because I like it doing just enough so the casters are almost dead, then get the last hits with ss, with that (and the new patch) I've been able to get over 600 damage with ss, not
