Fun fact, the President of the United States in the movie Independence Day (who also flies a jet in the movie), is played by Bill Pullman. I've heard many times that this level was made as a homage to the movie, I wonder if the character name was as well?

@andrewdgt I have played SF Assault(its my second favorite SF game next to SF64) and I admit what Peppy did in that game was pretty cool but I'm just saying that it would be cool if he were like that all the time.

@Belmont2500 nahh... not really, ya knw when you have too much of a good stuff and eventually it loses its magic? i think what they made him do is good enough i just wish they could of done more in SF Assult, it was too good but WAYYYY TOO SHORT!

@BluewolfR While SF Command isn't even worth mentioning. If only Assault got a proper follow up or even a special extended edition(with a longer campaign and more multiplayer modes). Hopefully Statfox Wii/WiiU will do something.

@Belm.t2500 SF command is not too bad, not to mention i heard alot of people actually wanted SF gameplay to be more like classical (mostly like SF 1 in which fox never leaves the arwing for any reason, they complain about this even in SF assult.) essentialy they got what they wanted but well its not as good as they hope. personally since i love strategy game i think it was deacent, at least you had alot of choices in story line much like SF 64, although it was a little too much.

Awww, brought back so many memories from my childhood. I miss those days: I'd hurry home from school, play StarFox 64, try to get every mission accomplished, kill Andross, and I'd even watch Independence Day on VHS. Awww, VHS brings back so many memories....

I played Star Fox 64 when it came out and even back then during this mission I thought the exact thing. It was alittle too much like the movie Independence Day. Oh and great job on "Peppy's Ship is in the docking bay." considering your partners never get killed only Fox dies.
