Yeah Weatherscan is really good, there's no commercials on it so thats probably #1. And the music alone is awesome, I had to order the Trammel Starks 3 cd set because of that channel! Unfortunately not all of the songs are made by him though

Here comes winter! Does it ever snow in Portland?

portland has snow in the winter, but it doesn't always stick. since the the pacific northwest is known for its "not as stormy as the East Coast" winters, snow storms are rare.

our last snow storm happened in January 2004, which is almost 5 years ago.

and that snow storm wasn't all that bad, we only had like 3 to 4 inches snow, compare that to the East Coast, you definetly wouldn't want to be there at all.
