Okay,I just finished the quest,and I've noticed people are asking about the door,well I found out that there IS no door where the map tells you,you have to make you way back up to where you came in.Then go out and bam :D if you're really stuck then please message me,thankchu :D

wow...lvl 4...30 hours well maybe u just didnt kill alot of stuff or something cuz i finished the game withoout side quests in even less hours but if u want a faster way to do it try when u walk somewhere just casting a shield spell or other that takes very little mana and just walk and cast it and ur magic skill will go up , of course u need to have magic skills as major to do it

if you dont want to use cheats its extremely hard to get elven gear, excluding the Ceremonial Cuirass in the fighters guild and the prototype sword in that guildmasters head room or w/e you would call it :P
