@joe15rock it seems like you judge music based upon the amount of talent, and not by catchy chorus's, you like music that is theatrical and goes places(excuse me if i'm wrong) so you would love foxy shazam(old stuff is crazy, but now i listen to nothing but the new album because it sounds like queen gone pop, in a good way) nuclear rabbit(INSANE, the vocals sound like mike patton, so your friend would definitely love them, especially since the bass player is SICK)

@alanslife1 thanks.....i've been finding some awesome jazz fusion like al di meola, soft machine, brand x(phil collins is the drummer) and also an amazing freestyle jazz player albert ayler(he's not for everybody but if you can admire crazy saxophone solo's as in some king crimson and frank zappa songs then you'd like him) and estradasphere, panzerballet....also you have to listen to crotchduster they are fucking hilarious and their transitions are insane as fuck!

I think it amazes me that when i was first shown this band my thoughts were "well the guitars and drums are beyond godlike but the vocals are just too weird" and the band grew on me so much that not only are they one of my favorite bands as a whole but these are my two favorite vocalists

@MetalHead1058 well since you are getting into chaotic vocals you should listen to nuclear rabbit, mr. bungle, primus, and the old foxy shazam(though their new shit is WAY better, but people think they sold out, no, he just gets influenced by EVERYTHING....he has a wide variety, but a lot foxy fans think their new stuff is gay pop music and he's trying yo be like fredy mercury, but he still experiments with his vocals as always!)

@MetalHead1058 and also the singer of mr. bungle did the voices of the zombies and animals in I AM LEGEND, and he also does children entertainment, sound effects for japanese anime's, he's performed on nickelodeon and BBC, and he plays at adult disco's, and he's in A LOT of bands, the most famous of them was faith no more, easy like sunday morning is played in a verizon commercial and his video's been on MTV, he can imitate any genre or singer, and his most unique band is mondo cane!
