This is awesome, i wonder if people realise how truly important this tech is. It could revolutionise the camera optics industry.
First example off the top of my head: Phone cams will now be able to analogue-zoom, while still being solid state.
Imagine how many applications this will have in robotic vision, with the ability to change the direction of gaze in 7ms without the use of any motors (just with refraction). Can motorised robotic cameras do that?
Each time I change it to 480p the quality get's extremely jaggy. When I then press the full screen button (and doesn't change quality because it's already on 480p) it looks ok, and when I THEN turn the full screen off, the quality is better than before. At no time have I changed the quality of the video (except for the initial change to 480p).
