He did answer the question, just no-ones willing to listen. what he's proposing is bringin in a system that is proven to work in australia where by a person is allowed into the country on a work visa (is thats the type they apply for rather than immigration) that visa last for a certain time and once that limit has been reached there will be a way for the authorities to know that, the person with the now invalid visa must leave the country.

Nick Clegg is a good public speaker, but the Liberal Democrats' policies are laughable. Immigration (amnesty basically invites games of hide and seek, where illegal immigrants know they can come here and if they lay low for long enough are given citizenship), Energy (completely rule out nuclear power), adopting the Euro (handing over control of our economy to the ECB), they support a European combined army (no) and would scrap Trident (we'd then depend on France/US for our nuclear deterrent).

Maybe he doesn't give as straight answers as you'd like, but tbh ask the other politicians that, and they'd give meandering and possibly worse answers which would only probably lead to more questions.
