where in SC? myrtle beach? i just got back from myrtle beach like a week and a half ago and paid like 50 bucks to parasail but man it was amazing... it got about 350 ft high

Yep - actually Murrell's Inlet, we stayed in Garden City. We were probably there around the same time - I was there the week of 6/28-7/5 and we sailed out of Capt. Dicks. They said it was 500 ft, but who knows especially with the horizontal tug of the rope. You're right it was amazing!! And to think I said I'd never do it again. ;-)
