bmw e36 325i with lsd

Hey bud! I get lot of wheel hops and I've been told LSD causes that (and several other worn component, LOL). Is that tru?

@21crazz well...anyways car isnt act like it had all good....might be shocks , meaning car is set to high from a ground and your drift tactics mate :( its really bad , u dont power over right and thats a result of a hard decision making process of your strange LSD lock which causes unstable slide

all american e36 coupse are the is model and it comes with a lsd already from factory and five speed is standard option i love my 1992 325is nothing beats a m3 tho!!!

Is it true that with a 325i E36 you can change the cams like an M3 E36??

I've heard about changing cams taken from m3 to 328, 325. Probably it is quite common thing to change if smb wants to gain hp. For exampe, for 328 people do: inlet manifold from m50b25, cams from m3, some good quality air intake system + sport exhaust manifold.

Yes u can take manifold from 325 to 328 but u lose much torque with that thing, not very clever. And aftermarket air intakes commonly SUX.

@heenkkade2 you loose torque but not much and what's most important torque curve is much better then stock one, but we are not talking about 328 here :) what i'am planning to do with my 325 is to fit 328 stroker, basically you need to rebuild your engine to do it, bec you are taking pistons and crankshaft from 328, according to my friend who does it, it gains around 210 hp, and whats more, its not that expensive, in poland where i live, parts and labour shouldn't cost you more than around 1000$

@RomeMs1 chodzi o strokera?? nie, plan jest na zimę ale watpie ze dam radę finansowo, na wiosnę musi być nowe koło - RH KW1, gwint i parę innych drobiazgów i to jednak będzie priorytet, za dużo GSów widzę na drogach i się coraz bardziej dołuję że moja jeszcze tak nie wygląda :)) marzy mi się również bananowy środek, zobaczymy... ;)

i think its joke that m50b25 could beat s50b30:)) Big joka if this car its seria?you could be lighter then M3 , you could be with free exhaust but u dont have a torque to fight with M3...

You just need to buy it :))

My car originally left factory with lsd on board. But you can buy it from m3 as well. It should be plug&play installation. I don't think you gonna need anything else but lsd.

yes it is so :-) transmission from m3 is 25kg heavily than 325 an the lsd from m3 is heavily than 325i

m3 is nice car but its to many

wight 1470-1530kg

m3 3,0- m3 3,2

and the 325 1330kg

my 325 is faster than m3 3,0 :-)

Your 325 has only 192 hp - if the engine is in mint condition - which I doubt. Or you did some mods - didn't you? m3 3.0 has 286 hp and is heavier by 250 kg. So your car has to have at least soft turbo to beat m3.

i have 1998 e36 323 M-Tech but engine and diff,other is an m/// from head to toe :) so what i want to know which lsd i should put on...

3.0 M/// diff with 3.15 ratio or

3.2 M/// diff with 3.23 ratio...?

The best method for drifting is 100% Lsd. Its mean welded differential ...This have a adventages and disadvetages . But its better to drift then Lsd form e36 or e36 Mpower because original Lsd has only 75/25 or 60/4- like in Mpower:))
