@gabfer Bogus was a surfer term used in the 80s that basically was meant to say "that sucks". Keanu Reeves first break out film was called "Bil & Ted's Excellent Adventure" where he would say "bogus" a lot. In fact the sequel to that movie was called "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey".
I've always liked the Critic. I mean I watch Simpsons and Family Guy too, but The Critic is just plain awesome and one of the most underrated cartoon shows ever.
He always plays the Bill andTed Role, the first Matrix was down to clever editing, but his acting in the second and third movies was back to his 'Whoa' Bill and Ted mode.
He never left the role behind, because he is the role.
@yellowcougar18 You think? It always seems different to me, the latter Matrix movies maintain the Half-asleep, dull Reeves in the first one, except with him getting into more pointless fights, while Bill and Ted has him much more energetic and funny.
@ Briantdt you are a troll plain and simple. Your also a pathetic waste of a five minute backseat BJ that came out in the middle of your sisters/mothers prom. Stop these cries for attention no one will love you.
I actually love both South Park and The Critic. Although i will always rate The Critic a little higher, both have some fall over funny moments. The only reason South Park is still on and The Critic is not is because South Park was on comedy central and The Critic was on fox, worlds worst broadcasting company.

@Archedgar you are obviously a south park hater. perhaps you just have bad taste in comedy or southpark burned something u love? u a scientologist? a paris hilton fan? o and by the way, saying gg after you comment doesnt mean you win.
I hate South Park too. I hate it's graphics, characters, premise, and gross vulgar humour. However even I must admit the jokes used in South Park are quite intellectual and witty.
In 2007, Time magazine included the show on its list of the "100 Best TV Shows of All Time", proclaiming it as "America's best source of rapid-fire satire for [the past] decade". The same year, Rolling Stone declared it to be the funniest show on television since its debut 10 years prior. In 2008, South Park was named the 12th-greatest TV show of the past 25 years by Entertainment Weekly.

The Critic got too sentimental, forgetting the comedy, and the jokes became weaker and weaker. The ratings fell, it got the axe.
The Simpsons had the same weak first season, also, but they were allowed carry on because of the fan following. The Critic never had that fan following. A pity, but when it could not sustain the jokes, it couldn't last. The web episodes made fun of the actual movies, funnily enough, and it was miles better. But they ran out of ideas.

Take a look at that barber shop routine they did, where Stewey killed them both. Come on, that gag was funny. Now, the show is just not funny. It's trying too hard to be shocking, and failing. The only time FG was funny recently, was when South Park were taking the absolute pee out of it, and Muslim extremists.
@yellowcougar18 Yeah I agree they don't seem to do the quick gags that they used to like when peter was like "I just got a crazy idea! You're obviously a South Park fanboy. I try to avoid talking to rabid fanboys, but let me clear things up:
I watched a few seasons of south park(an acquaintance of mine had some burned DVDs which he sells to others /shrug) with a friend...
The show is harsh garbage. It has no wit, it has extremely poor "Jokes", the animation is pathetic(obv), the voice acting is weak.
Trey Stone and Matt Parker are obviously retards.
South Park still exists, the Critic does not, oh well, people are retards.
