  • "Bogus!" LOL

  • I never thought of Keanu Reeves being portrayed as being that stupid...

  • That's not a clip. That's the entire movie.

That's probably the shortest movie ever and doesn't even need to hit theaters.

    LMFAO XD

  • 0:33 Tom Brady?

  • Shut up Ted XD!

  • RIP Dennis Hopper

  • Whats mean "Bogus"?

  • @gabfer Bogus was a surfer term used in the 80s that basically was meant to say "that sucks". Keanu Reeves first break out film was called "Bil & Ted's Excellent Adventure" where he would say "bogus" a lot. In fact the sequel to that movie was called "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey".

  • @gabfer I don't know whats mean and my name is not bogus...

  • Bogus...OH FISH!

  • clearly the explosive charges were placed in the library in advance of the attack. WAKE UP, PEOPLE!!!!!!

  • Thumbs up if you were romanced by Jay's eyes at the end of the video.

  • 0:44 too soon. lol

  • wtf lol XD

  • That's a lot of fish. *shot*

  • That was not a clip, that was the entire movie. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks Jay! You just saved me seven bucks!

  • Wow

  • NOOOO! He is the ONE!!!!

  • IT'S FISH, YOU IDIOT! FISH!!

  • Awesome.

  • keanu reeves is a smart guy

  • That's a pretty good caricature of Dennis Hopper

  • 6 People Can't Speed Read!

  • And this is why adult iliteracy is dangerous.

  • Keano Reves was already notable in '95?

  • @595o Someone's a little too young to remember Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

  • They'll have to release the director's cut into theaters. 33 seconds isn't long enough.

  • You know, this kind of makes adult iliteracy scarier then it probably is... not that I don't think this was funny.

  • I bet people in hollywood would be inspired by this clip.

  • 6 ppl failed to read the book

  • that was not funny it was hilarious

  • Twoaaah... i mean uh... two.. XD

  • I was born the year this show came on air and I still know about it and it was and still is the funniest show I've seen.

  • BOGUS.

  • We NEED The Critic back. Not just an internet series, the SHOW.

  • The art style and colors used in this movie reming me of Oliver and Company for some reason.

  • HAHAHAHA one fish two fish, red fish blue fish was my favorite Dr. seuss book.

  • Is the other guy supposed to be Dennis Hopper? Hopper didn't play bad guys.

  • @JakeandElwoodBlues well you're wrong. Hopper played the terrorist in the first Speed movie.

  • @Xx5thHorsemanxX

Also played the eye patched villain in water world who says " it does smell like shit"!.

  • @JakeandElwoodBlues AND he also played king cooper in super mario bros. seriously man wtf are you talkinhg about?

  • @vdentjr Actually, it's Koopa. But, looking at the film, it might as well of been cooper.

  • @JakeandElwoodBlues Speed and Waterworld was his villain roles. I think he might have more.

  • I'm not even sure if "One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish" even has 50 words.

  • @GameKeeper28 I believe it has 161 words in it.

  • Oh my gosh, the three explosions one right after the other... boom *boom* BOOM!

    I've never lol'd so hard

  • When is this being released on DVD? i want to watch the deleted scenes cast commentary.

  • @mrcheesesmith The series is already available on DVD.

  • @YoKozo

I think he was referring to Speed Reading.

  • @YoKozo Yes but when?

  • @YoKozo he meant speed reading

  • @mrcheesesmith You can pick it up January 27, 2004. Google is awesome, welcome to the internet.

  • @mrcheesesmith Yeah, Speed Reading DVD FTW!

  • @mrcheesesmith

Already on DVD, I bought it last week!

  • It's sad that it's actually better than most movies these days.

  • how could the bomb know how many words were being read

  • They need to bring this show back!

  • "It says fish, you idiot! FISH!!"

"Dude, now I lost my place."

Why the bad-guy stuck around after setting the timer is anyone's guess.

  • @cadman2300 Because he's Dennis Hopper. 'Nuff said.

  • That wasn't a clip, that was the entire movie!

  • BOGUS!!!

  • This movie cost $83 million dollars

  • @cousinted $82.5 million of that was to hire Keano Reves. ^_^

  • Hmm... I never knew that Michael Bay wrote a book.

  • Your MOM was an entire movie..

  • @Eragarev God, you're dumb.

  • @TheLizzardOh Fuck is your problem, shithead? Go back your worthless "halo ads".

  • @Eragarev Least I'm not uploading gay pride parade videos, dumbass.

  • @TheLizzardOh You started this, asshole. Jump down someone else's throat.

  • @Eragarev Oh wow really, my relpy was 2 days ago, you comment was 2 weeks ago.

  • @TheLizzardOh Yeah, but I didn't anything to you, or anyone for that matter.

  • When he said "BOGUS", I just about lost it.

  • Dude, i lost mi place XD

  • I love this show

  • Bogus!

  • 'dude, now i lost my place'....hehe

  • That is a huge library....

  • LOL

    RIP Dennis Hopper!

  • That wasn't a clip, that was the entire movie.

  • THE CRITIC RULES also RIP Dennis Hopper !!

  • I've always liked the Critic. I mean I watch Simpsons and Family Guy too, but The Critic is just plain awesome and one of the most underrated cartoon shows ever.

  • knowing now a days. That could make 400 Million Dollars.

  • Q: Is Keaneu Reeves as dumb in real life as he is in the movies?

    A: He couldn't be.

  • Love this show

  • That guy's head is huge!

  • Its weird seeing Keanu Reeves parodied when he was still typecast in his "bill and ted" role as opposed to his "The matrix" role.

  • @malleableconcrete

He always plays the Bill andTed Role, the first Matrix was down to clever editing, but his acting in the second and third movies was back to his 'Whoa' Bill and Ted mode.

He never left the role behind, because he is the role.

  • @yellowcougar18 You think? It always seems different to me, the latter Matrix movies maintain the Half-asleep, dull Reeves in the first one, except with him getting into more pointless fights, while Bill and Ted has him much more energetic and funny.

  • Dude, EXCELLENT

  • HAHAHA It is so funny because Keanu Reaves is actually like that!

  • The terrorist should have given him a book that's easier on the brain. Not too many people can comprehend to sophistication of Dr. Seuss.

  • AHAHA, lol, this clip just made my day

  • That was not a clip that was the entire movie. LOL

  • Weird- Hopper's character's hair went from grey to light brown as the film went on.

Though I still think that the sequel to Speed should have taken place on a plane, and been called Speed 2: Air Conditioning. True story.

  • Well, it's better than Speed 2.

  • HAHAHAHAHA XD

  • BOGUS!!! LMAO!

  • @ Briantdt you are a troll plain and simple. Your also a pathetic waste of a five minute backseat BJ that came out in the middle of your sisters/mothers prom. Stop these cries for attention no one will love you.

  • Im going with arch because south park is dumb show it does have 1 funny part now and then but they parody everything even family guy.

  • I wonder if the co producer plays for the patriots in the mean time

  • That was not a clip, that was the entire movie.

  • bogus!

  • lol 0:15 enough said lol lol

  • I actually love both South Park and The Critic. Although i will always rate The Critic a little higher, both have some fall over funny moments. The only reason South Park is still on and The Critic is not is because South Park was on comedy central and The Critic was on fox, worlds worst broadcasting company.

  • that was not a clip, that was the entire film.

  • i paid 8 bucks for that?

  • It's FISH you idiot FISH!

Dude now I lost my place.

    CLASSIC.

  • t-t-twoh-- oh two!

  • .........I seriously miss the critic.

  • @killzonedout

Did you check out the web episodes. They were darn funny.

  • DUDE! now I lost my place

    dewk is lief

  • most heinous!

  • BOGUS!

  • my thoughts exactley ;D

  • South Park is garbage.

    The Critic is great.

    ...

  • south park is not garbage. i bet you saw 1 bad episode and now you hate it.

  • i'm not a fanboy, i'm just saying south park doesn't suck. Family Guy sucks.

  • whatever. you like Heroes.

  • @Archedgar when losing an agruement just call the other person a fanboy......its fool proof ;)

  • I hate South Park too. I hate it's graphics, characters, premise, and gross vulgar humour. However even I must admit the jokes used in South Park are quite intellectual and witty.

  • Yeah because we all know for accurate flawless info you go to Wikipedia. Oh wait no you don't, because half the crap posted on Wikipedia is wrong anyway. If your going to post "facts" get them from someplace other than Wikipedia.

  • While many of the episodes are not all that good, there are many shining examples of genius among them. I agree with you to a point.

  • LOL, that wasn't a clip, that was the entire mo-,and the video ended.

  • Sorry about that. The video is fine, but when I uploaded it, YouTube cut off the last fraction of a second out.

  • YAY!Thanks for uplaoding,I love The Critic

  • try a cuttoff prevention

  • Wow. I saw him on Simpsons AAAAGES ago, and I always assumed he was a reference to something. Never knew it was another cartoon series! These clips rock! I need to find full episodes!

  • i have the whole series just dont know how to get dvd to my pc also i dnt rly wanna spend cash

there are a few full episodes here too

  • miss you Jay S. :(

  • IT STINKS!!

  • God, why did they cancel this show?

  • Probably because they were afraid of something else stealing The Simpsons's thunder?

  • @dynamicsketch

The Critic got too sentimental, forgetting the comedy, and the jokes became weaker and weaker. The ratings fell, it got the axe.

The Simpsons had the same weak first season, also, but they were allowed carry on because of the fan following. The Critic never had that fan following. A pity, but when it could not sustain the jokes, it couldn't last. The web episodes made fun of the actual movies, funnily enough, and it was miles better. But they ran out of ideas.

  • "that was not a clip, that was the entire movie" lol

  • Bogus!

    Thanks for posting this.

  • that was the entire moo

  • I like The Critic more than Family Guy. You see, Jay Sherman is a film critic, so it's inevitable that there will be parodies and pop culture jokes abound.

In Family Guy, Peter Griffin is a fat, stupid, middle class father, yet the jokes are the same as the Critic's (with the exception of incessant cut-a-way gags). The pop culture jokes feel more out of place in Family Guy.

And with the current state the Simpsons is in, I'd rather watch The Critic.

  • I agree completely :D

  • @RossIrving Hell, Family Guy stole from the Critic.

  • @RossIrving Well this just raises the question, why did this get cancelled while the other two still air? I mean The Simpsons may still have its moments but nothing really remember able anymore and Family Guy, well I just hate that show.

  • @RossIrving aaaaamen to that!!

  • @RossIrving

God yes. I actually would prefer the Simpson's now, to Family Guy. I'm bored with the characters, I'm not laughing, and any gag I end up liking, they kill it off. Take a look at that barber shop routine they did, where Stewey killed them both. Come on, that gag was funny. Now, the show is just not funny. It's trying too hard to be shocking, and failing. The only time FG was funny recently, was when South Park were taking the absolute pee out of it, and Muslim extremists.

  • @yellowcougar18 Yeah I agree they don't seem to do the quick gags that they used to like when peter was like "I just got a crazy idea! (puts hand in waffle iron) they just do run on gags now and it blows worse than seinfeld. Personally I think robot chicken is better now i.e. cut to snoopy's at the chiropractor ('What have you been sleeping on?)

  • @AColonDashSix

I'm tired of Robot Chicken too, because they copy FG's jokes, and also did a Star Wars parody, when FG did an SW parody, and it just felt like an imitation. It also feels that the jokes are becoming more of an imitation of FG, with little original material. I know Seth Green is involved in both shows, but is that really an excuse for a lack of orginality and no decent material.

  • @RossIrving I agree! They should've continued with the show instead of canceling the show. Honestly, what was FOX network thinking???

  • @bigmacsama They weren't.

  • @Mrtraveler01 Hey, who asked you? I wasn't talking to you in the first place. So beat it, ya jerk!

  • I like The Critic and Family Guy equally.

  • He's reading the Dr Suess book: One fish two fish, red fish two fish. :)

    BOGUS!

  • I don't like Jay Sherman's redesign in season 2. It makes him look like some weird troll.

  • Yeah Keaanu Reeves's Ilitteracy.

  • LMAO!!

  • BOGUS!

  • Wow, Grow a sense of humor

  • Keanu reeves sucks the critic rules

  • This show would have so much material if it was still on what with all the crap in theaters now.

  • What makes this clip even funnier for me is that the entire time I was picturing Keanu dressed as Neo reading the book.

  • "BOGUS!"

    lmao

  • Bill and Ted reference lol

  • More like Keaanu Reeves parody

  • Much better than Speed 2 :P

  • "that was the entire movie"

    LOL

  • Even if that was the whole movie, I'd still see it!
