  • get to the eating of people already!!!

  • Awesomme movie!

  • This movie was meant to be a porn movie but it got turned into a gay porn movie.

  • It annoys me so much that the censors cut forced the poster to cut peices out of this movie--that I swear to god I will NEVER buy this movie--just out of principal. Damn studio--add that to your market research, bitches.

  • I'd say more of a thriller.

  • awesome movie but waiting fo it to load is frustrating, it's too slow

  • this film meant to be sex

  • Is this film meant to be horror or thriller?

  • I've never seen this whole film, can't wait!

  • Love this movie

  • Why do all the therapists I know have a therapist? If a therapist needs therapy, should they be working as a therapist? How can a screwed-up person tell another screwed-up person how not to be screwed-up?

  • dont need to be srewed up to have therapy . its more over therapist supervision to make sure they as to the extent you can find out are coping with their job . They can be god though at saying the right things to their supervisor but from philisophical standpoint they argue what is the right thing to say bla bla one or two counsellors i know very messed up but know what to say in supervision

  • lmao. ignorance is bliss....if u are a therapist it is required that u also see a therapist!!!!!

...its to make sure ur not taking on ur client's problems for urself and making sure u stay sane and are giving good advice

  • i get your point lowspark68

  • cause its easier to tell someone how to go about their life when you already been through what they are going through

  • thats like asking why does a doctor take medicine. Should a doctor be prescribing medicine if he uses medicine himself? Hmm...

  • I went to see this at the cinema before I actually new what it was about! I'll never forget it! Bloody great!!!!

  • Dr. Chilton kind of acts like a psychopath himself.

  • I like this film, I wish Jodie Foster played in Hannibal even thought it was a little not so great, she still makes a better Clarice Starling.

  • Brilliant film.

  • so does anyone else notice she's not wearing shoes.lol

  • What did multiple miggs say as he was passing the fish market? Good afternoon ladies

  • one of my favourite movies :x

  • i love this film ^^ and hey does anyone know where i can watch silence of the lambs in german? / hey weiß irgendjemand wo ich schweigen der lämmer in deutsch gucken kann?

  • she sounds texan

    is she?

  • West Virginian.

  • Chilton is a tool

  • 4:04 - 4:08

OMG what happened to the big guys in red! she ate em all without leaving a trace in the elevator!

  • yeah i though that at first maybe they stopped on another floor XD

  • she was called up to the administrative/director's offices, those guys weren't.

  • Manhunter (1986 film) was first lector movie..check it out :)

  • Jodie Foster is an AMAZINGLY talented, beautiful, and intelligent woman. She's PERFECT for this film.

As is Sir Anthony Hopkins. Check him out in the BRILLIANT movie, 'The Elephant Man' opposite John Hurt. Another all time classic film.

  • i do agree. Jodie Foster complimented Anthony Hopkins. Julianne didnt do much on the other hand, i was sorta dissappointed with her in Hannibal.

  • ok they mention that lector hasnt seen a woman in 8 years, yet anyone who has seen red dragon remembers that it ends with lector having only recently sent to psych prison and is then told that a "female fbi trainee" would like to interview him , little time leap there

  • this women is hot for a dyke

  • a true psychopath. one that can actually scare you. kudos to this movie

  • truly epic - from the writing and screenplay to the casting to the directing to the acting

    EPIC

  • "you fly back to schoolnow little starling, fly, fly, fly. fly fly fly." haha Anthony hopkins was made for this character =)

  • i lovee this moviee!,

    is she a phsycologist??

  • I think she's training for the FBI and she's studied criminal psychology...I might be wrong through I've never read the book

  • its spelled love , not lovee dumbtard

  • hopkins freaks me out... but he's very good

  • When i heard that Hannibal Lecter was voted as 1st villian of al time in movie by AFI, i thought : who the hell is he ?. Now i watch this one and i think "he 's worth it"

  • hehe duh ! lol i love hannibal he would totally kick freddy or jasons butt anyday!

and u r so right he does deserve it! :D

  • good old orion pictures, always bring us the best of mindfucking-mkultra-movies.

  • looking forward to watching this, the book was awesome =)

  • wats the name of the book, can you tell me im very interested?

    please n thank you

  • the book is "the silence of the lambs" by Thomas Harris. If you'll watch "making of silence of the lambs" documentary, found also on youtube, at 3.22 in part 1 you'll see the cover of the book.

  • silence of the lambs by thomas harris, and it is the sequel to red dragon, by the same author

  • part 8 has to be attained elsewhere so i made a playlist y'all

  • "his pulse never got above 85, even when he ate her tongue" lmfao

  • You tube is fucking awesome

  • sry my damn-ass bro keeps goin on my file >:( just ignore any comments posted by kingcool257 on this vid.probably my bro

    >:(

  • the soundtrack is also brilliant!

good actors, good script, great story, perfect rythm, ... such a wonderful movie!

  • the best movie ever i love it ^_*

  • great movie!

  • It's a very interesting psihological movie.

The muder do this because he hate the women, since he was born as a man and not as a woman.

  • the book is more better then the movie i think, but thats my opinion against MILLIONS of others so yea

  • mrockerfeller10mr ... I find that to be true about most if not all movies that are based on a book. Dan Brown's Angel & Devils and The Da Vinci Code come to mind.

  • oops, I mean Demons, not Devils

  • That is almost universal though lol

  • Comment removed

  • it puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again

  • Wspaniały film, jeden z moich ulubionych a to ze względu na osobiste zainteresowania związane z tematyką seryjnych morderców i ogólnie kryminologii. Thank You lector0003 for posting this great movie. Greetings from Poland!

  • 2:42 - 2:44. see that thing

  • what??

  • this is the first time iv seen this movie my mum said id love it it m y mum favrit well one of her favrit movies

  • "His pulse never rose above 85..."

    That line made me shiver...

  • same here

  • Hannibal Lecter...best bad guy of all time.

  • I just finished reading Hannibal rising...Great story.

    Love the movie.

  • NO WAY! its on here!!! yay, so cool.

    YOUTUBE RULES!

(BEFORE THEY REALISE WHAT PEOPLE HAVE UP-LOADED THAT IS...)

    CHEERS!!!!

  • I just got finished rereading this book... I love this story so much. It's my favorite movie.

  • By thomas harris? it rules, read hannibal and then hannibal rising. The films are so different! the books have a cooler ending by far!

  • i know what u mean, the film endings are rubbish compared to how the books end, especially Hannibal!

  • I agree. lucky for me I read this one before I saw the film, not bad over all...but could have been better.

  • has foster got a natural brooklyn accent, or is she just pretending?

  • actually that is her real voice It sounds freaky rite? lol yeah thats her real voice

  • hes such a good Crawford. Wonder what the reason was for him not continuing the role?

  • YAY! Always wanted to see this.

  • It's a Very good movie.

  • *shiver* what hose?

  • I believe the cause for the "green flashing" is due to the fact this copy of Silence of the lambs was ripped from a VCR tape so it's not that uncommon really because if you were raised in the 80's-90's and rented tapes from Blockbusters it would happen quite often. There I've explained it lol... Now I'm missing the 90's when life was fun ;(

  • Dude, the 90s where the best, how I miss them.

  • It rubs the lotion on it's skin or else it gets the hose again. Is that it?

  • It PUTS the lotion on its skin. lol

  • It places the lotion in the basket..

PUT THE F***ING LOTION IN THE BASKET!

lol, Best part of the movie.

  • Jonathan Demmi runs a close third and actually ranks with Stanley Kubrick and Roman Polanski.

  • lol... thats wut i do all the time to watch rated R movies

  • the flashing is getting really annoying

  • i see them too:)

  • Jodie Foster was so GORGEOUS in that movie. Actually she's still gorgeous ^^.

  • green flashes?

  • am i the only one seeing the green flashing?

  • were?

  • dude i saw one at 1:32

  • NO! Me too!

  • does anybody else see green flashes in the film or is it just my eyes being weird?

  • 0:22?

  • Many thanks for the post, I have it on crackly old video but so good to see it clear like this. NB, log on to Hannibal Rising, absolutely top film too.

  • I thought it won 7 Oscars...?

  • did jodie foster win an oscar for this? or Hopkins?

  • Foster and Hopkins both won Oscars.. It also got an Oscar for best picture. 3 in total.

  • actually 5. the 5 most prestigious awards, third in history, and last, as of yet.

  • Both hopkins and foster won oscars for best actor and support actor respectively and the film also won best picture and basicly the 5 biggest academy awards you can possibly win.

Simply put, the film was a masterpiece of the thriller/horror genre.

  • Anthony Hopkins is the man.

  • what is it rated if anyone knows..

  • Its pretty high in top 100 imdb.

  • i mean rated PG-13 or rated R..? do you know?

  • Rated R in the US and UK i think.

  • haha!! parents have a lot to learn!

  • The best film ive ever seen.

    i love the characters.

  • Best film of all time.

  • your a genius :D

  • why am i watching it again?!

  • Cuz it's super awesome ;D

  • I agree :)

  • she's got such a sexy voice

  • her voice is the wife on the incredibles

  • i've been putting this off for a long time, let's hope it lives up to the expectations everyone has instilled in me

  • lol, same here. its one of those films everyone else seems to have seen, except you.

  • Same here.

  • rofl same here too

  • even my pathetically horror-phobic girlfriend has seen this, and she loved it!

    me too now!!

  • yeah it's a classic. My mum gets scared, but tbh it isn't scary ...

  • The reigning champ in Horror/Physchological movies.

  • first time i wached this movie i was 6 and my dad let me

    i had nightmares till i was 8

but its a great movie even if it is so scary

  • ah! the credits are still playing and i'm already nervous. this movie came out before i was "old enough" to watch it...so i've only heard stories. i'm 19 and about to piss myself and nothings happened yet lol

  • I can relate.

I'm scared shitless and I've paused it at 0:29.

THAT TREE AT 0:29 IS EVIL.

  • How is it evil..?

  • lol ur weak

  • I'm eating a pice of bread with liver pate right now... actually didn't make the connection before now... Just might eat before I continue watching ;)

  • My favorite Movie of All Times..

  • im a huge horror movie freak

this is one of the best horror films ive ever seen

  • Great flick. I found it more intriguing than scary, though. Jody Foster pulls off a good WV accent.

  • lol ever heard her speaking voice or just seen her casual, shes a great actress

  • This is The Nice Movie Had Ever Seen

    Because Its Very Nice

  • This film FUCKS you up psycologicaly !!!!!

  • i would be crapping in my pants if i was sent down there.

  • grudge

  • WHAT ARE THOSSE FLASHS?

  • ya what is up with that i mean its anoying to see these green flashes come out of no where it kills the mood a bit

  • subliminal messages lol

  • of what kirmit the frog

  • eh, it's free. Be quiet.

  • I did remember that Starling was blond in the book.....

  • isnt this like based off of ed gein if it is omg no lie my grandma and grandpa's old house used to be a block away from ed gein's house

  • Where??

  • wild road in hancock wisconsin if that means anything lol i went up to my dad and asked and thats what he said wild road hancocl wisconsin

  • dude, ed gein lived in plainfield wisconsin. not hancock. look up "the butcher of plainfield".

  • u cant believe everything on the internet my grandparnets used to live down the road from him i didnt ask my grandparents which town it was i asked my uncle so my god im sorry if i got the towns confused

  • i didn't mean to insult, and it's not just the internet. i got alot of info on him from books.

  • no its cool i just thought you were being a stuck up about it so sorry

  • Scariest ... movie ... ever ... made!!! thankzz fer puttin it on hereee!!

  • saw isnt even in the same league as this movie new horror movies suck....this is one of the best horror movie..behind the excorsist

  • halloween?

  • halloween is a great movie - BUT it is just your average run of the mill slasher film - Lambs is one of the greatest if not THE greatest psychological thriller/horrors ever made - it has SO many dimensions & it set the bar for every other thriller/horror ever since - Clive Barker said the book was the best horror novel he has ever read & the movie the ULTIMATE tribute - riveting! I concur very much!

  • oh well i think u should go tell someone they got the name wrong :p silence of the lambs and sacrifice lambs are 2 different things

  • Damn! Did she eat all those guys in the lift!? Guess she was hungry after all that running! :-/

  • btw I know everyone always makes comments like this on movies they think are the best.....

But Silence of the lambs TRULY is the single greatest film ever made.

  • fuck yes. it demonstrates incredible acting, an amazing storyline, the greatest villain ever (dr. lecter) and such an eerie chill the whole movie. the best movie ever.

  • Yep!!!

The acting is amazing! Thats why they won oscars for this!!

    This is brilliant!!!

  • that could be argued. id say it sure makes a top 20 list

  • great movie ,thanks alot for uploading.

  • I remember when I was kid and my dad took me to see this movie. I didn't sleep for days.

  • i like these movies alot.

very interseting.these movies show what real "horror" is.

  • This movie was so scary the first time I saw it. I never get tired of watching it..Its very well directed.

  • Are you kidding me? Silence of the lambs created it all.

    Hannibal = pure shit

    Hannibal rising = ok

Silence of the lambs = CLASSIC
