Yes, you are right, Esbit would burn longer and would probably produce less dirty - but I have so many of the BBQ starters and want to get rid of them.

@steintanz lol, I was talking about NG abbreviation... Trangia stove, certainly heavy, is not that bad - I have made a few worse than that. I usually burn alco and rely on DIY gear stove-wise. So no, no feedback on the piece by Esbit. I'm just curious - apart from creosote, what is your teapot made of? Alu?
