@ninjagaidenfan5 Hello. It depends how much money you want to spend. If your GX21 runs, why do want to change it? I never had an GX21, but I know, that some of them run great others are lousy. The sirio is surely a good choice, not too cheap, but if you put this engine into your inferno changing probably the gears, it will fly over the street. 100 km/h should be possible without big work. greets from switzerland. hund

allright, mine says GX21, on the inferno sp4... i dont care if its tricky, I want power until the axis MELTS haha.... last night I was hashing down the central diff an with some drillholes glue an stuff I manage to disconnect the front wheel (you cant just take off the front dogbone, plus, youll lose front brakes) and got rwd, but damn its oversteering now, so i just lowered it back and rasied it in the front, lets see now on the test.....aight later man! cheers fr sweden....

Hy Olle! This is an O.S RZ .21. This engine is old already and out of stock everywhere. If you want something easy to handle but hot as this one, choose probably the O.S V-Spec. also own this engine and use it in my Inferno ST-R. Very fast, reliable and easy to handle. Greets from switzerland.

....original O.S engine on a Inferno??? Don't change your starter box! More performance on engines without recoil starter, and these fucking recoils break all the time. there is a difference between 777 and 7.5, you have to google some pics of the chassis and you will see....

Non, ici il s'agit d'un O.S .21 RZ. Ce moteur a déjà 10 ans. .21 veut dire 3.5ccm. C'n'est pas seulement le volume du moteur. Un O.S V-spec, RB, SIRIO, Novarossi, etc....ca marche tout bien, peut etre ca coute un peu de plus que Force par exemple, mais on voit la difference. Excuse mon francais. svp

i tell u how to get ur inferno one a higher speed turn the mixer of fuel and air ( screw) out so more fuel gets in the engin and drive like 2 tanks and then screw it back in ( about 3 - 4 millimeter ) and then ur engin will be tuned good luke and have funn with ur faster inferno mp 7.5 sports 3 =D

only kyosho engines on RTR Chassis-Plate fit direct without engine mount. This one is mounted with kyosho engine mount. The Kit chassisplate has no holes for the kyosho engines.

Kyosho engines are really only considered bad coz majority of the time they have bad stock o-rings.. which makes tunining impossible for beginners.

I love the KYOSHO inferno,it's indestructable (almost). probably the best buggy on the market with tons of hop-up options. 110%fun and the kit cars are ready to run steaght out of the box. My inferno is pretty much tuned up and can hit speeds of over 100kph, Depends what gear I put on, I mean the clutch-bell gear, stock is 13 tooth, go up to 15tooth, this will also reduce wheel spin but gain incredible speed. Have fun.

hey i jus gotta kyosho inferno 7.5 sport 3 and i broke it in and it runs fine no engine trouble at all and there not weak and dont break it u follow breakin presedure p.s dont full throttle for too long you can blow the engine my friend did it.

If you talking about the RTR Model, I dont know. They usually come with a .21 GS or GX recoil starter engine from Kyosho. Maybe 60 km/h....Ask someone who owns the RTR car. Mine is a kit car, delivered without engine.

i a new to rc cars but do fly heli's if only for a short time .. i have put a downpayment on a inferno at my local hobbie shop .. i wasnt sure at first if i should git the inferno mp 7.5 or the inferno st truggy after alot of debate i went for the truggy as i think i will suite me best for what ill use it on with the advice of my local shop in mind .. you seen to know what your talking about so just a quick questiion if you can help..i have been told to upgrade the servo if im going to go on

Hello there. I have also an Inferno ST-R. Very very funny car. Don't invest to much money for the beginning. You still can upgrade your servos after the are broken....The original servos in KYOSHO's cars sure aren't the best, strongest and fastest, but still good enough for the beginning. The problem is, if you buy a lot of the ST-R parts, you have to spend a lot of money. For example the FERODO brakes! I don't know the latest ST. But one good thing are the chassis stabilizers. I also bought them for my short truggy, which is built out of ST, MP-7.5 and MP777 - Parts. Good servos are sure a good way to spend money. The .28 is a good RTR engine. Don't change it, before it blows :) !

Hello again. Now I "googled" the DBX. That's an 1:10 car with .18 engine. Surely not bad and funny car if you are a nitro rookie.For my taste a lot of plastic parts and sure not too heavy. But nice big wheels and think funny to drive. The 1:8 Buggies are a little bit more expensive, but maybe also stronger quality. Depends how much you want to spend and how you use it. Wish you just a lot of fun, whatever you take.

Hello. It's only 1 gear! The engine has many many gallons through in the meantime. Still runs great. I dont blow it, if the settings are ok and the rpm dont exceed the limit of the engine. This video has been taken more than one year ago, and I still use the whole car....

That's 4WD and also stock transmission. (Main spur gear). If you use a hot rossi, sirio or picco engine with pipe, and change the main transmission you will reach easily the 105 km/h. There are many other fast engines on the market. That day I only changed the clutch bell (18er).Greets from frozen switzerland.

Dont worry, they are reliable and if you buy kyosho, you get quality. I own three differnt kyosho offroad cars. they rule and are really good quality. If you want more fun and power, don't use kyosho engines. I like o.s, but there are many other good brands avaiable on the market. Greets from switzerland.

Hy. Not a ready to run. It's an MP 7.5 Kit, with the O.S RZ engine/pipe, standard main spur gear (49?) and 18 tooth clutch bell. Nitromethane 25%/14%oil content.Outside temp was about 4 degrees (fucking cold) engine temperatur never more than 110 degrees!

I don't know the reason. I also checked it with an infrared meter....I use selfmade nitro and the outside temp was "fucking cold". This O.S engine is a few years old, but the best I own. Even in hot summer time, never hotter than 130 degrees.

I am not sure, but I think, traxxas engines run hotter than other ones....The guys from Towerhobbies write this in the description of the traxxas engines. Maybe you have to live with 200 degrees, until your engine blows away ;)!
