Poor Shadow. He watched his best friend die. He feels even though he protected Maria to the best of his ability, he just wasn't strong enough to save her. That kind of a past can weigh on you heavily. Watching that part made me remember my worst memories, and the saddest. My past weighs on me heavily too. I can't forget.
