It's very beautiful, but it comes off a quiet, sleepy little town. Not somewhere I'd like to go for fun on a summer holiday. More of a "go meet the grandparents" sort of place. If you were trying to attract tourists, wrong frame of mind. People over 65 in Canada only made up 13% of the population in 2006.

naaahhhhh Prince George rocks, unless you like the real city life which it is not. the place is great if you like fishing and hunting etc etc........ and the women are super easy/friendly. what more can you ask for? the only thing is its cold as midnight shit, and it kinda smells funny. It tops vancouver hands down for livability (spending 50% of your life behind the wheel while some asshole daydreams of being somewhere else is ahead of you).

I've made good friends with a good many folks who enjoy their life in Prince George. I've always been impressed by the hospitality, the amenities and the location.

Unless you live in the hart or College heights you dont deal with AS MUCH of this stuff. I got robbed at gun point infront of 50 people at the cineplex. The health care system is a joke, the doc barely examined my kid. The drivers are insane. Dont ever move to this place.

@simonseestv as have i. i live in the GVRD and i hate it here i went to prince george for the first time on august 17th 2000 from that day forwards ive called it home and denied all ties to my area here.
@steph1971 Custom built ladder dolly. We're really pleased with it. Packs up in a relatively small box, and we just need to find an aluminum ladder when we arrive! Awesome.

It was not difficult - sometimes an outsiders eyes see things that get missed on a day to day basis. We're all guilty of this - we're so glad to be able to show folks that PG has real beauty - just take the time to look.
