@adrenalineguy Yup tried listening again & it's still a mediocre rip-off. New? C'mon you need to get out more and treat your ears buddy, keep on searching, nothing new or original here. And I'm happy to stick to my Zeppelin..and the Zeppelin reference was in relation Lefsetz over the top praise of what really is a "mediocre rip-off"(hell he admitted as much when he reviewed this some weeks ago).

But seriously man if you dig the band & song then more power too you. Props tho, the man can wail!

Thanks to Bob Lefsetz for the link. Reeve Carney truly has one of the most amazing voices capable of a very wide range of material. Everything Reeve sings is a masterpiece. Can't wait to see him in NYC in early 2012 for Spiderman ;)

Not sure which is worse... the track or the film. But hey... I'm listening on Genelecs so maybe I'm not getting the magic. The scourge of music today is retreads... what is great and new about this? The Bon Jovi references? The Zep references? The Mellencamp references? The tiresome acid rock breakdown freak out? Leffers my dear old chap... love it by all means but don't say it's great. It isn't.

Pretty flippin' cool. And yeah, it would sound better without the distortion due to data compression; makes the dry vocal in the quiet sections sound really harsh. Still a kickass mix.
