  • This is one very "sassy" video. =p

  • This video went viral on Yerevan

  • I did 3221 x 2312 and got it right. awesome

  • How do you do it with a 0? ie 20 * 102??

  • woooooooooooooow!!!

  • Excellent!!!! What is the reason behind this i mean how this method gives Correct result and where this method was originated? Pls rep

  • excellent

  • excellent

  • uh why do this when you can just do it the regular way and faster?

  • if u r a girl plz call me i need maths tuition 4m u!

  • dose not work for numbers like 98 X 76. i tried it... and its time consuming for more than 3 digit numbers.

  • @neilkadu It works very well for all nos. I think u were wrong

  • we cant do 278 x 123 by this method...try it...

  • Tried...it works fine..i think we really have to understand the rules of addition when we r multiplying higher numbers with another higher number..like i could not figure out how to do 3672 x 3672...

  • I will take that back. This method works great..i got it to work for 3672 x 3672 as well..i was doing incorrect additions.

  • tell me how did you do it? i didn't get the right answer...

  • interesting but not practical

  • Hmm, very interesting method, although I'd like to see it done with a pair of very large random numbers. Also, I thought the symmetry of 123x321 was a poor choice for a demonstration.

  • this is crap -- he is doing graphically what we do numerically ........unless u are a monkey who cant remember simple tables, this is a total waste of time and effort....

  • @thekapinjaluknow I think the idea here is to convey the fact that math is an art and how it can be taught artistically and not involve memorizing tables.

  • ahh but what if there were 3 or more multiplying numbers?

  • You could always do it recursively. Just multiply the first pair using this method, then multiply that product with the third number. Although I wonder if it could be extended to a three-dimensional space...

  • @meanleanchris96 Why, you'd just have to find a three-dimensional piece of paper.

  • but with what rule we have shift 1 to left wide making 8 to 9...??????????

  • simple we carry the 1 across because it belongs to a higher number placement. for example: 78 = 78 ones OR 7 tens and 8 ones, whereby 7 is the higher number placement.

  • bullshit

  • btw guys this is vedic math invented thousands of years go not something new

  • awesome , bt notice it resembles 2 ours usual way 2 multiply

  • thuth nimmammana dhenga.......

    yo sulle magne......

  • Really Excellent

  • Excellent really wonderful to have this kind of multiplication without having tabes involved

  • dis is really cool!!! guess its not applicable for numbers which has 0 inbetween!!!

  • i guess using a calculator is faster :)

  • awesome!

explores basics of number theory :)
