I find it so strange that they'd have this segment of a Korean soap opera in MadTv, since I didn't think it'd be popular, and if it's asians people seem to recognise and like Japanese and Chinese more.

Also, I think the woman actually says "no" in english when the subtitles say she said "Mother, no!" and the it's silly that at the end of every "episode" it says The End in korean, usualy that word only shows up on the end of a series, most of the time it will say something like "To be continued."

this kind of reminds me of "Winter Sonata" (the whole series is on youtube, just search for it). I don't want to ruin it, but there's a sibling situation like this in that drama. I don't think twins are as common in korean dramas as they are in American soap operas. and the music is totally off. the music in korean dramas is usually very good and there are even some english songs in them. (like "Dancing Queen" by Abba in "Winter Sonata").

Junsang and Yujin find out they are "related." Of course, we find out later that it's not exactly true. Junsang does lose his memory and he ran out of Yujin's house in high school, because he "figured out" they are "related."
