question about my friends 1998 pontiac transport 6cycle engine (V6) I opened the glove compartment and in the back it says remove to expose air filter. So do you think thats where I'll find it. Not under the hood of the engine.
Notice that on the newer model you have to remove interference, but on the old model, all you need to do is turn a wing-nut counter clockwise.
GM and Ford need to get back in touch with their customers. Changing an air filter or an oil filter should not require special tools, removing interference, or an extra hand.
