I definitely understand where you're coming from on the safety issue. Just look at the diversity the WRC once had. Take a look at the manufactures that left. Most sadly Lancia, Puegoet was phased out, Audi, Porsche, Renault, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Toyota, Suzuki, etc. Now the WRC is dominated by two manufactures..

The Rally of Monaco isn't even on the calender. Many people say this is just a bad phase of the WRC, but I think this "phase" will last at least a decade. Sad!

@SanMiguel17Ekclan I also said this one time to a friend, motorsport is losing what gave it the status of one of greatest sports in the world, the insanity, but this isn't only retained by the safety issue, also the drivers don't have the balls of steel that the old ones used to, just like ayrton senna said one time, they sacrifice a lot of things just to the pleasure to be p1, and they where prepared to sacrifice their own life for it, thing that we don't see nowadays...

FIA under last president and now Jean Todt is too focus on F1. If Ari would be elected he would be a HOPE for WRC in years to come.

WIth J.Todt WRC will be "dead" in this Citroen/Ford come for manny years ... and whats more ... Sebastian Loeb have KILLED rally few years ago allready !

@adakar83 isnt Loeb retired from WRC already? Thought he said 2010 would be his last year, or was it 2011? Just because someone is really good, doesnt mean they need to quit tho imo. It just pushes everyone else to go that much harder. And i can't believe Subaru either... like wtf, the imprexa was one of the greatest modern rally machines, why would they pull out??

@SanMiguel17Ekclan I do not agree. Put out there an old Ford Escort RS 1800 with modern roll cage and seats: Full modern safety and show as bloody spectacular as in 70ties. Today cars looks like eggs, handles like train, has the same size and the same weight. The all look the same, drive the same style and don't do nothing spectacular- that killed WRC. Look how different wre cars in 70ties or 80ties. Every car had it's own style of moving.
