Yeah Memphis was the best. Its a shame their tape library is lost. WWE could make about ten DVD's based on the wild stuff memphis use to do and today's fans wouldn't know what hit them.
A lot of the shows were taped over other shows, mostly the shows from the 70s. I've heard the investment group that originally bought the USWA has some of their footage and also Jerry Jarrett and Lawler own some of it too. And channel 5 out of memphis has some of it as well. It's a mess, I know. And it's a shame.
" I want all the girls to take a look at this big, fat tub a spit, cause that's what Steve Keirn's gonna look like when he's 50 years old." Ha! Troy was a great heel.
I'm looking for video of Tommy Rich's Mother angle and Fabulous Ones jackets torn up by Moondogs from Memphis. Any chance you might have any of these. Thanks and keep the posts coming.
So, the interns were actually the Assasins? because that's who was in the match. I believe Graham had his leg broken in a match with the Fabs not long before this. Either as a member of the Bruise Brothers or the NY Dolls (I believe the later of the two). Man could he ever give an interview, really missed his calling as a manager. Does anyone know what happened to him all of the years he was absent from wrestling?
was that Buck Zumoff 7:33 ?

I have every show from 85 to 96 back to back. I made copies for lawler and sent the whole massive collection to him.
He took it to the WWE but they were not interested in it.

Doesn't Lawler have the tape collection? Just can't really understand how it's lost...

Only in Memphis do wrestlers' parents and spouses get beat down and hair cut. Total humiliation. That's why Memphis wrestling was the best.

I think John McAdam said it best "Never invite your family to a pro wrestling taping." It truly is a recipe for disaster.
