And the back end look like an a*shole. This is classic sports and not a ufo looking weird car and porsche kept there style since 1940's with success thats why its in the top 100 companies in the whole world. They have one of the world's best engineers too

I know you purists don't agree but I think that for the ultimate in performance, Porsche should offer the duel clutch PDK for the GT3, GT3 RS, and GT2 RS. It won't be as pure as the chunky manual they've got in the current ones but it will be a lot faster. If you put an advanced gearbox in a razor sharp track day tool like any of the three I mentioned, you're in for a real treat.

True, even on Autocars review they said that the new Focus RS was as quick off the track and better to drive than the GT-R. The GT3 will always be desirable unlike the GT-R which no one in their right minds will want 5year down the line (if there are any still running). GT3 is intended for track use, GT-R claims to be for the track but is fitted with a black box recorder which Nissan will use to void your warrenty should it break and you have been deemed to 'Race' it.

It was my local Porsche dealers first shipment and we were there when it came off the semi (actually 2) and they checked them out (both white) and owner got in the cars and revved them both and it was amazing that 3.8 is very impressive and the wheels look great with some sick center caps. Anyway what a great car. look forward to the gt3rs

The person below making comments about the GT2 and GT3 does not have much clue about either. The GT2 is basically (per porsche) closer to a turbo charged GT3 RS than simply a road car. It has fully adjustable suspension, same race config'd core etc. The GT3 in this add while incredible, is not the same a the planned GT3 RS version, nor in the same league as the GT2 - nor did porsche design it to be that way. GT2 and GT3 designate race class confiigs, hence the different class distinctions.

Actually, it's not. It is a 2010. The new GT3 has a 3.8 litre engine vs. the previous 997.1 that had a 3.6 litre engine. I've got one on order and i can't wait to get it =)

alot actually. the gt2 has a twin turbo flat 6 that puts out 530 horsepower and it is the only stock 911 to get over 200mph. it is basically an autobahn car, it isn't really set up for corners (watch top gear review) the gt3 is a track car for the road. it has a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat 6 that puts out 435 horsepower, but it is so light it will still get to 190, but this car is all about corners (pulls 1.04g!)

The gt3 is for people who want to race on a track, the gt2 is a fast road car.

Scratchy is right, the guys on top gear is not very good at driving, and certainly not good enough for a monster like the GT2. The GT2 is also a track car, it's faster around the ring than the GT3. The GT2 is as focused as the GT3, the RS GT3 however is the most focused of all Porsches.

yes the gt2 is faster around the nurburgring, but that track has alot of straight-aways where the gt2 would have the advantage b/c of the extra horsepower. the real test would be to put them both around a smaller track like mugello. that is where the gt3 would shine.
