We used to have a proud country, with history of bravely fighting evil in world wars, and building a country from nothing with our will and determination. Now we are just happy to be noticed, and love playing to our "friendly" and "nice" stereotype by forcing taxpayers to pay for poor peoples health care.
@clancy6969 uhh we've never been noticed I was in europe in school with a bunch of international students from Germany , Italy, France, America all those places and not one knew Canada was even in the World Wars. So yea I guess were happy to be actually noticed for once.

He's the best thing that ever happened to me in my whole political career! You must have put something in the water at THAT leadership convention."
He was elected to represent the people of his riding, who I assume will either kick him out for this and other reasons, or they'll vote to support his behavior.
Nonsense. Granted, the grits are no better, but the tories would axe the medpot program, violate the charter rights, and build more jails to house more small time pot growers, giving the big guys even more money, which will justify their desire to build even MORE jails and hire even MORE cops.
The liberals are one of the most corrupt political parties on the planet. Canada has become a third world country because of the liberals - they launder tax dollars, they lie, they make every Canadians life so miserable that Canadians leave the country just to get away from them.

Conservatives represent a completely different set of values from the liberals - traditional family values, less government, lower taxes, greater individual freedom, accountibility, justice etc... liberalism in Canada breeds nothing but poverty and despair.

Canadians have record debt, no disposable income, they die waiting fort elective surgery under medicare - I don't want a government imposing its will on me and deciding how my money is going to be spent - we now see it just ends up in liberal pockets - listen RussLBarth, you'll still be entitled to civil unions and medical pot under a new Harper government, so chill out baby.

Canada's overall tax burden (34 % of GDP)is actually about the OECD average and much less than Europe and Britain.

Canada has roughly average taxes for the developed world and the BEST debt-to-GDP ratio out of the entire G8.
