I tried to do 1 I used a ice tea container that's like the same size as a 2 liter and I but the lid on and sprayed hair spray inside and took a lighter it blow up and hit my counter it mad a loud sound I couldn't remember what happened 4 25 mins I was stunned

It's just a Tuppaware pot, and screw top drink/ food container will work though, as long as the lip screws on realy tight, and the material is thick enough to withstand the explosion.

Depends what kind of ignitor you're using though, if it's further than 10mm apart, very often the spark isn't so good.

2mm is enough anyway, in a chamber of highly explosive flammable gas, the smallest of sparks will set it off.

hey. i just made a spud gun today but i bought a piezo ignitor but it doesn't give a big spark like yours how can i make it like yours?

Erm, you can't really make it more powerful, all you can do is make sure the two wires of the sparker are as close as possible to each other. In my spud gun, I joined the wires to two screws, and fixed them into the side of the combustion chamber. The screws are about 2mm apart, that gives a great spark.

look up camera flash ignition if you want a big beefy reliable spark but piezo electric even with a small spark should work fine

all work fine, as long as they are a relatively tight fit down the barrel (not too tight, or the gun will explode...)
