  • i would say this is still very much performance art, i say that as an immense fan of performance art, OOIOO definitely has a real "event" influence on the visual aspect of both their performances and their videos. is their a traditional Japanese influence on their work, yes, as is the same with nearly every Japanese musician working today, from Pop to Rock to Metal to Avant-Garde works like we have here, they ALL have traditional aspects to their modern music,but this is not "Eastern" art per se

  • if people cant get it its cool, if people can get this then its the best! u never heard this shit with volume? trancends brother! but that eastern sounds for u, dont confuse it with the noise or performance art we get in the west, different worlds (evident!) open up, check the rest of yer brain.. it is actually cool to like what ur friends dont y'know.. dont be scared to be different! or maybe thats the problem..
