do i have to do this right when it gets wet or can it be like a week and a half later cause i just saw this video and wanted to try it? please respond
Hi guys, I recently fell into the sea by accident and my phone was in my pocket and it got wet. I did not know what to do and i thus took out everything and wiped it dry and then plugged it into a power source. No response. After a few tries, it started vibrating madly and the light on top of the device started flickering. The phone started heating up like mad until finally i switched off the power supply. Now it is not giving any response. Please Help!!!
@Spideyrocksify I dropped my phone into a bucket of water while working, had the same situation as you. I put my phone into alchohol and submerged it completely in Isopropyl alchohol. After that it accually started to turn on and the outer screen and everthing was working. the only thing not working now is the inner screeen.

Fantastic I just used this method to remove condensation from inside my psp screen, saved me from spending cash on something I hardly ever use anyway.
It worked for me almost perfect..!!!! My Canon SX210 LCD has to many layers, so I wasn't able to find out where to stop. I did cleaned like 4 layers, and I saw one with a weird pattern that I didn't cleaned; know pattern one shows up. (Deem..) I never get to the silver coating.. I still wonder if should I open it again and repeat the process
When you did this to your phone, was it the exact same model phone? Because I need a new LCD screen for my BB pearl and may try this before ordering one. Worst that will happen is I wreck it but it doesn't work now anyways. My question is, if your phone was different. Do the LCD screens for different model phones pretty much follow the same guidelines set out by this step by step?
Hello, with me i manage to get dust evwerywhere - how do you not get the tissue breaking up and smuging on the screen? - i can imagine getting all sorts of debris sticking onto the plastic screen :(
very nice! I will make sure that i can get a replacement screen for my iriver H10 before i give this a shot first tho, i spilt nitro car fuel on my screen!! :(..

@kazalack Your idea of fun is a bit sad then. In the trade we bin the old LCD, fit a new one and charge the customer a fortune. WIN

Nice video - you should warn about the possibility of dust contaminating the layers, which would leave visible specks after reassembly.
