I am a mechanic and I recently worked on a Ford SVT Lightening and took it for a test run. I was not impressed with its performance compared to my personal vehicle which is a 07 Supercharged 5.7L V-8 Tundra. For those questioning the Warranty concerns, the warranty is NOT voided with any TRD upgrades.

@Chrispherpunk51 I wasn't impressed with the Tundra, It just didn't give me that "UMPH" feeling.. Tundra is made for towing, the Lighting is not. 5.7l Supercharged V8 vs. a 5.4 L Supercharged Triton V8. Ford came supercharged stock.. Toyota did not.

anything TRD will not void warrenty cuz its toyota and i was told they cant void it for any upgrades but i dont believe it so might wanna ask about that but they can not void warrenty cuz TRD parts

thats pretty ez 2 make with a tuned tundra w/out putting a force induction divice. 627hp and 620ft.lbs of torque N/A. but dont make a tune like that. it requires a good racing engine block. redline is in 10k.

@Motorfordtoyota Noo it has the same horsepower but not as fast. That Tundra cant do a 3.7 second 0-60 and have a Top speed of 198mph.
