It is disappointing for taxpayers in Fairfield County to be represented by an incumbent with such a poor ranking on economic issues. One irony of Himes’ tenure is that his district is one that has been among the hardest hit by his big government policies. Himes has accelerated Washington’s wasteful spending at a pace that is spinning out of control. Our families are getting tens of thousands of dollars of new taxes and new debt, but very little else from Himes.
