Why is it that everyone thinks they have the right to tell parents what to teach a child? It's one thing to teach a kid something, another to publicize it. Why not teach a kid about God? Give them the option of belif, if they reject, then that's their choice. They will learn about evolution and the big bang BS at school anyways, why not be balanced? Nether are 100% proven anyways.

This was very true in the centuries that passed(crusades, rise of Muhamad)but now there are many other factors that start a war. World War1 and world War2 had many reasons such as entanglements of alliances and national resentment but had no connection to religion.

I know some people who have said that if it were not for their religious beliefs they would of killed someone. So for the most part, religion is a good thing in society.
