Always one of my favorites... Secada's lyrics are honest and beautiful, perfectly suited for Gloria's voice.  I wish she hadn't made a joke of it with the ending, though Andy Garcia WAS hot in his day. Still, this is about a love that smolders in silence and I think that sucker-punches the listener.

I've always thought Gloria Estefan's the heir apparent to Karen Carpenter when it comes to ballads--that same creamy control in her voice and a tinge of sadness always. Glo's got some fun uptempo hits, but she invests the slower songs w/real nuance. So refreshing to hear someone sing ballads w/power & range in their voice w/out the melismatic flourishes that Mariah's vocal style has made ubiquitous over the last 18 years.
