@jarjarlol If it really, really bothers you... We say something like "15 and 5", at least where I live, don't know how it is in Russia. It's faster than saying it in Eng, which in turn is faster than saying "15 point 5".

Unless you work translating and dubbing movies, games etc., where you have to count how many seconds it takes to say a phrase in some language(3,5 or just 2?) you shouldn't think about it.

Fail driver in the Koenigsegg. Most likely it didnt even run on E100 ethanol fuel (which it needs in order to reach the maximum power output) but normal 98 octane fuel which means it didnt have the 1098 hp in the first place.. not even close.

The CCXR and Agera R both do 0-300 in about 14,5 - 15 seconds which is quicker than a Veyron.

Theres no way it would struggle against a 750 hp Viper.

At the end you can see it took the Koenigsegg 29sec to 300 which is ridicolous.

The CCXR should have been faster. But look at that 750 HP Viper kick it's ass in the 1/4. For a .3 sec diff I would be pissed off if I spent that much money on the CCXR! Buy American! Better bang for the buck! Also lets take an American car ie: Viper, Corvette and put as much money into them as one of those over priced Euro jobs and see what the Euro cars can do in a drag. You would have a 10.7 second CCXR vs a 7 to 9 sec Vette or Viper and still have alot of money left over!

lol about these torque vs hp discussions. torque is nothing without revs, and hp tells you torque x revs. so all you need to know really is hp. NOT only maximum hp though as it is used to rate cars and which usually occurs near max revs, but a hp curve

that's why TDIs or these big block v8 sometimes can outrun cars with higher maximum power, because their hp curve is more even and they have more hp lower down (and you will need those lower revs, every time you shift)

Im surprised at how well the viper held up in this race even with the burning rubber part. I dont believe that the CCXF was playing with it at all, the viper just accelerates faster and that's why it won the quarter mile cause its built specifically for that reason.
