Thanks, but I read a gamepsot review on the FF2 anniversary edition and it says they changed a lot of things and the levelling system and battling is a lot different and can be exploited.

So i'm just gonna go ahead and get FF origins for the PS1 which incluides FF1 and 2 for PS1, I just want to play as close to the original as possible.

Actually I think it has one of the best storyline in all of the FF games. If this was remade with for another console (Wii) with a revamped storyline (beasts from hell, more specific what happened to him and satan, satan secret final boss) then it would be my favorite by far. The leveling system is actually badass in this game as you can just go fight those soldiers in the city at the beginning of the game and then fight the werewolves. After that you are good to go for over half the game.
