@blankable1 I think it is supposed to. >> It is meant to be spiritual...she does it on purpose..sort of a ' possessed ' cry type thing. Tarja Turunen did it as well while in Nightwish for the ' Siren call ' as well as a few other artists. The vibrating of the vocal chords is what makes it beautiful for me honestly.

She is a goddess and rules the stage. The dancing is beautifully unique and fits the music perfectly. I only wish the costumes were a bit less flowy as they are distracting from the lines of the dancers. Overall a breathtaking performance!

@loko744 XFactor people thinking Florence needs back up dancers has nothing to do with why they are there. This show is about collaboration of the arts into a performance by utilizing and promoting as many talents as possible at once. Sonya Tayeh is a genius choreographer and the dancers portrayed her choreography beautifully! This performance is something not only Florence can be proud of, but ALSO sonya tayeh and the dancers. Yes, she is wonderful on her own, but it wasn't just about her.

She wrote a whole album about spirituality and it is doing very well! who has done this successfully in music in the past 30 years or so without being unheard of. She's on the X-Factor singing about spirituality and sensuality, that tops any performer you can name.

My God, as soon as she started singing i got tingles all over my body and as usual when Florence sing's the tingles stayed till the end of the performance, her voice is incredible and she's so goddess like on stage so powerful but yet so graceful. bravo Florence.

@loko744 it isn't the "X Factor people" that design her performances, it is Florence. She evidently felt that back up dancers would be the perfect touch for her performance. And they were. They were fantastic. Imagine how you would feel if your passion was dancing and you were given the grace of getting to dance in one of Florence's performance and then someone referred to you as a "stupid back up dancer."

You have no idea how much effort those dancers put into that performance. Show respect.
