I remember seeing John's Yankee Rebels line in '76...freakin' awesome! They had this massive snareline (which could have been cleaner ;) The licks he wrote for that drum line I still remember in my head to this day...
Clown?..You obviously know nothing about drum corps history..John Flowers was one of the most invonative drum line instructors of the 60`s and 70`s and I`m sure most of what you like about drum corps today are a direct result of things he thought of back then. PS: I know for a fact he can read and write music.
