I'm a recovering alcoholic, musician my self who's been in rock bands I'm a pro guitarist, teacher and session musician..there's almost too much I can identify with what clapton was saying...being a British guitarist from London (honest check out my you tube channel) I'd just wish he'd pump some more money back home...its much harder to stay sober in gloomy old London than to retreat to a beautiful, sunny island..
tears in heaven was the song that made me wanted to play the guitar, the first song I ever learnt and i had no clue about the story behind it. I have nothing but respect for the guy and im sorry we dont have more musicians like him...
I love how honest he was here. Very strait and to the point. You don't get that from many people no matter who they are. I have much respect for the man as a guitar player and a human being.
