I think the reason why they never "stuck" was because they were just your everyday Dance Pop songs, whereas the others were more mature sonically and lyrically. "Like A Virgin" is a pretty dated album I must add. I personally enjoy her earlier stuff off her first album more, but her later stuff is also cool. Really just depends on how you see it.
